It was a fine computer for about three months about a month ago. It broke down just one month short of the one year warranty. I called HP and they said because I bought it on Amazon the people that sell these on Amazon modify these computers so it no avoids the warranty so don’t buy HP products on Amazon HP will not help you with the warranty if it does break this is a fact call HP if you don’t believe me.

I bought this laptop needing something simple for writing and miscellaneous things. First thing is this laptop is SLOW. I tried troubleshooting and doing factory resets after migrating some previous cloud day and issue persisted. There was always a lag, websites would take forever to load, I would type faster than what came up on the screen, etc. But since I wasn’t using it for anything serious, I thought it would fine. Four months into owning this and it has completely died on me. It says it’s charging but it refuses to turn on. I’ve tried multiple chargers and they don’t seem to be issue. I’ve let it sit for a few hours to charge and still nothing. The lights are on but the screen doesn’t come up. It’s a waste of money, go with a different brand if you have to say within this price range.

There is an issue with the keyboard randomly switching to all caps and the caps lock button is unresponsive every time this happens. Idk if this is true for every single laptop in this model and series, or if I just got a lemon.Great value, I love how lightweight it is and the screen quality is pretty good. Long battery life, considering it’s a “cheaper” model. And it has decent processing speed. I’m running some pretty heavy programs on it and never had lag…yet. Knock on wood!

My wife wanted the pretty pink laptop. It seems to work well.

Purchased on January 30th, 2024...Pleased with price, delivery, performance, etc. Purchased for work/school... Had it in the box, for two weeks, before I set it up and started using it..... Streamline, simple, and efficient....On March 15th, 2024....I had two papers, and a work project.... Screen blank, white flashes ... I rebooted, shut down, troubleshot, called Hewlett-Packard, called Amazon, contacted seller ...No dice...Wanted to exchange, not have an obvious Lemon, repaired..Buy the Assurion Protection Plan.... It will give you Peace of Mind, when:1.) Amazon will not back any of the customer service guarantees... Window closed on February 29th, for refunds, or exchanges ..... Walmart helps you,with the proper receipt... Let us hope the CEO of Walmart is correct, when saying, "In five years, Amazon will be a distant memory..."2.) Hewlett-Packard will not allow the manufacturer warrantee, when computer is purchased through a third party...3.) "Snowbird" (the seller) sent an email, asking the problem, then disappeared after receiving my information....Nice little computer....I bought all the bells, and whistles---around 400, all together...Good thing, I bought the protection plan, since no one backs their electronics, ....

I looked everywhere for a laptop and did some price shopping. I went to every website you can think of, and this was the best value and pricing I found! it arrived quickly and was exactly what the description says.
