It’s perfect for small children there are a lot larger ones but of course they cost more money I run a small child minding business and my children love it

Yes I agree also the handle on the shield kept coming off

What is the shield made of?

Plastic. Its not durable. My 6 yr old nephews one developed cracks after a few weeks of playing with it. Had to get rid of it to avoid any cuts
