Goodbye Overwatering, Hello Happy Plants!
I'm usually a plant killer, not a plant lover. But these self-watering planters are seriously game-changing! I can finally keep my herbs alive without constant fussing. Here's why I'm obsessed: No More Overwatering!: Seriously, this is the biggest win. The self-watering system is amazing. My plants are getting exactly the right amount of water, and I don't have to stress. The water level indicator is also a great touch - I can clearly see when I need to re-fill the reservoir. Stylish & Versatile: They look so good on my windowsill! They are simple, clean and modern. They fit perfectly on my small balcony. Easy to Use: Setting them up was a breeze. Even I, the plant-challenged individual, had no problem getting started. The planter is also easy to clean. Perfect Size: The 5 inch size is perfect for starting seedlings or keeping smaller plants happy. Great Value: Especially considering how many plants I'm not killing anymore! See-Through Design: It's so interesting to see the roots developing through the clear inner pot! BUT... (there's always a but, right?) I did notice something a little weird after a while. The rope that draws the water up sometimes gets a bit... funky. Like a musty, slightly unpleasant smell. I figured out that if I replace the rope every couple of months, it solves the problem completely. It's a minor inconvenience for the overall benefits! Verdict: Five stars (almost!). Even with the rope issue, these planters are fantastic. They've made me a plant convert. If you struggle with overwatering like I do, you NEED these in your life. Just be prepared to swap out the little rope every now and then! Happy Growing! 🌱

No more over watering!
I used these for succulents and ferns. I wanted something that would eliminate root rot. I started with a Jade clipping.. it took great to the bottom watering, so I then transplanted my peace lily and it perked up with the bottom watering. I did my aloe plant this week… so far so good! The color lights the room, looks classic. Great quality - everything was included in the box and seems sturdy.

Took a gamble and it paid off
These aren’t the most expensive plastic planters on Amazon, but they’re definitely among the best. I purchased the 8-inch and smaller combo set, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. What’s Included: Each planter comes with: - A drainage/feed cup - A pour spout - A thick cotton wick - A planter cup - Clear instructions How It Works: 1. **Set Up the Wick**: - First, determine your plant’s needs. Tie a knot in the cotton wick about midway, ensuring there’s enough length to lay around inside the drainage/feed cup to absorb water effectively. - Feed the wick through one of the two designated holes in the planter cup. (The instructions don’t specify when or where to tie the knot, so you may need to adjust it later.) - The wick should have enough length to lie in the drainage/feed cup while the rest extends upward near the root ball. You’ll need to hold the wick in place while adding soil. OR (Another method) There are two string holes in the cup base, whereby you can feed the string through each end so there's two ends lying in the drainage cup and a single horizontal string at the bottom of the dirt cup. *(I accidentally tied the knot too close to the end of the wick, leaving little in the dirt cup. Surprisingly, it still worked—after watering yesterday, the drainage cup was empty. So don’t stress if your setup isn’t perfect!)* 2. **Assemble the Planter**: - Gently align the cup and base locking points, twist the drainage cup onto the main dirt cup until it clicks into place. Keep the wick inside the drainage/feed area when twisting —it’s not a threaded base, and the click is subtle. - Insert the pour spout into the drainage cup’s entry lip. 3. **Plant and Enjoy**: - Add your plant and soil, wipe down the exterior, and you’re done. Voilà—perfectly potted! Final Thoughts: The plastic is sturdy but not overly rigid—just the right balance. The color scheme is neutral and pleasant, fitting most decor styles unless you’re after something highly specific. You can even water from the top, instead of the bottom for those plants that need it. I like them so much I just bought another set. I can’t believe I found the perfect bottom-feed planters on my first try. Lucky me—and lucky you if you decide to get these! I hope this helps someone out there!

Decent Small Planters
These look OK - I used them for herbs over the winter months. The watering base is small & does not hold much water. It would be more useful if the water basins were deeper. The build quality of the plastic is average, they are somewhat flimsy, but they work. They are very light, so you have to be careful when moving them as water spills easily.

LOVE these!
These pots are so great, I bought more! They're self watering via a whick system, easy to assemble, easy to add water to lower tray. My plants love them! I really like that its a variety of sizes, comes in different colors, I chose black. They're light weight, but good quality plastic pots. I would highly recommend!

Sleek, functional, and perfect for low-maintenance plant care
These planters are exactly what I needed to simplify my indoor plant routine. The self-watering design works well for keeping soil evenly moist, especially for plants that do not like to dry out completely. I only have to check the water levels once or twice a week, which makes care much easier. The black finish is modern and clean, and all six sizes look great grouped together or spread around the house. The built-in saucers and drainage holes prevent messes, and I have not had any issues with overflow or leaks. This set is a great value and makes it easy to keep plants healthy without constant watering. I would definitely buy them again for future repotting.

Just what I wanted
These planters are very nice. They are understated enough to go with any decor while letting the plant be the star of the show. They also allow for a good balance of drainage and moisture retention. They are lightweight, easy to use and the two pieces of the planter fit together nicely. I will definitely purchase again.

These are nice looking pots, and i love the different sizes, but I only gave it 3 stars because the bottom falls off when you pick it up.
