Best Jewelry Tool EVER!!
I've been making high end jewelry for over a decade, and these are the only brand of pliers I use. I have every single pair they sell, and every single one of them are INCREDIBLE quality!! The cost is amazing, the quality is spot on, they last a lifetime, and the best part is that if anything, and I mean ANYTHING, happens to them, the company replaces them for free! You can't beat that!! It's an insanely easy process to get a new pair if one of them break. Last month I had the closure on one of the pliers break. I emailed Wubbers, and they just asked for a pic of the broken part, which I emailed to them. Within 5 hours they had responded and mailed out my pliers. They didn't even ask me to send the old pair in! Talk about impressive. Wubbers made a lifelong customer out of me a long time ago, but this latest experience with them sealed the deal. I'll buy anything else. Out of all the pliers I have from them, these are what I use the most. I also prefer the baby wubbers over the normal size. They fit better in my hand, and I like the shorter handles. I even have bigger hands, and the small is still the size I prefer. If you make Jewelry, I highly suggest investing some money into these pliers. You'll love them, and won't regret your purchase for an instant! I know you'll fall in love with them just like I have, so make the dive and buy yourself some quality tools. It'll be the best decision you've ever made for your jewelry career.

You really can't go wrong with Baby Wubbers!!
I have been making jewelry for approximately 12 years now and believe me when I say, I've tried my share of pliers! Most do an adequate job, but these round nose looping pliers are incredible! The padded handles are very comfortable and reduce the chance of hand strain. The amazing part is the padding doesn't slip or move around like SO many do! They are very easy to use and definitely not stiff. I was traveling and wanted to take my beads on the plane to work on since it was a long trip. I was worried TSA might confiscate my pliers, but I didn't want to lose my Baby Wubbers! So, I decided to take a well-known competitor's pliers that I used prior to finding these pliers. If they got confiscated - oh well! They didn't get taken, so while I was on the plane, I pulled everything out, laid it all out perfectly and got started on putting eye pins into my beads. By the second bead, I cut out the pins and put everything away! I didn't like the quality, the hardness of the handles and how rough everything was. I was so spoiled by my Baby Wubbers, I couldn't stand to use anything else!! These really are the best pliers you'll find, and without paying outrageous prices!

The best tools and at an affordable price for students through professionals
Repeat purchase for me as my original pair purchased many years ago was lost in a move. As a jewelry artist and instructor Wubbers are my preferred tools both for personal use and what I recommend to serious students. They are durable and manufactured to allow for precision use and professional results when used correctly. They are ergonomic which has become even more valuable to me over time due to changes in my mobility and strength from age and disease. The construction and finish of the tools minimizes marks and nicks to your metal reducing work time and materials loss from damage. My personal choice set is the classic style but there are I believe 3 different styles of tools to choose from now to fit your own personal size requirements. I like that you can purchase the different tools in sets and individually so you can add to your set as your style changes and your tool needs change along with that. Or if like me you need to replace a lost tool. I could go on and on about Wubbers. I have before, to friends, colleagues, students. I love mine and I have been known to hand them over in class to someone to use for 1\2 hr or so to a test drive them. Without exception those people have agreed that they were great tools; as good as or better than the older and more expensive companies

worthy of the hype
I've been working quite a bit with jump rings and chain, and my basic pliers would sometimes leave marks on the metal. Not to mention some hand pain/discomfort and callouses near my knuckles. I'd read online that Wubbers had a finish that reduced marks on metal, and were great for hands. The prices started in the $30 range. More than I'd spend on tools before, but cheaper than having to deal with carpal tunnel or something like that later on. The Wubbers brand has a large selection of pliers, and I don't think they're all on amazon (certainly not with Prime shipping). The "baby" ones are smaller and less expensive. I noticed amazon had a good deal on two different baby wubbers, so I decided to try them out (one at a time). Sure enough, they were easy on my hands, and easy on the jump rings and chain. Are they necessary for everyone? No. But if other pliers cause discomfort, it's worth the upgrade. Or if you're making items to sell and not wear yourself, scratched/marked/dented metal can be an issue...so it's worth it. If you do chain mail, I'd say they're probably worth it. Now there are pliers out there, Lindstroms, that are pricier and possibly better, but the Wubbers have been fine so far.

Good for larger-gauge chainmailing~
These are great pliers. They're quite sturdy and the jaws close precisely. And they have good leverage with their width. They are a little big for my smallish hands, but I needed some stouter pliers for occasionally working with stainless steel jump rings. Even on 16ga stainless, they work pretty well (though I'd say if you're ONLY going to be working with SS, get something with teeth -- I also use these on aluminum, so I needed smooth jaws -- I have to use tape or some kind of grippy coating for these rings). My only complaint, and it's a very small one, is that the cushy coating on the handles, while comfortable, tends to rub one spot on my hand a bit raw after a while. (It is probably because of the size of my hands; this doesn't tend to happen with my Baby Wubbers pliers.) Tape fixes that issue just fine for me, but your mileage may vary.

Good Quality Tool
It pays to spend more for better tools when making jewelry. These pliers are good quality and will last longer than most others. I like the grip on this pair.

Fine jewelers pliers
Took me a long time to find these pliers. My previous jewelers pliers were made by Excelite finally needed replaced after 30 years. They are no longer available, but these pliers far exceed the quality I have been trying to replace. They are made well, and I expect to never need to find another pair.

Matching Wire With Plier
The narrow width of the 'blades' is exactly what I needed for the project, in wire, I was working on.
