The size is very good and it has a lot of the tools that I need! It's light and small so I can carry it around better than my big scanners. it can scan almost any car it seems and has five resets that you can choose from when you first set up. The build quality is premium and not cheap like, it's a touch screen and is built very well, feels solid in my hands. It does have a battery and you can charge it with the wall adapter and it does connect to Wi-Fi so you can update it and buy new features if you want more featuresWhat I really liked is that this can do a lot of what the little tools can't! It has the ability to scan ABS, SRS and all the other modules in the car! So overall, I thinks it's a very good scanner especially for the money - and a much worthwhile investment as compared to others! I do wish that it was fully wireless though, the wire is nice for power if it's not charged, but I'm getting used to wireless dongles ahaha

I have tried out a few different styles of these OBD readers and they all seem to have their issues. Most of them are slow to respond and slow to do resets. That is not the case with the Launch C-reader device. Launch has been in the industry for a while and has made many strives in their software. This appears to be android based and you DO NOT need to use a laptop to upgrade it! Just connect to WiFi and it will download the appropriate updates. There are a lot of updates to download -- which is a good sign. You get a choice of what five unique options you want as far as resets. This works quickly with my Ford truck and allowed me to diagnose a couple sensor issues quickly.
