The seller shipped the product immediately soon after I put in the order, and the product arrived just in time before my planned party. While setting up the system, the seller Mr. Chen was very responsive in answering our questions. The system UI is intuitive and has input options for English, bopomofo and pinyin for searching songs and artists. The microphone is connected well to the system and there is no delay to the sounds.

The system is nice and easy hook up to speaker or tv. However, the quality of some music videos installed in the system is poor.

Pros:-Good selection of songs, including English songs, and the songs come with original music videos, mirroring the karaoke lounge experience-User interface is generally intuitive. Even though interface is mainly meant for Chinese users, the English translations are perfectly servicable-Can use iPhone app as a second remote control, so works really well for parties with multiple people picking songs-Customer service is really quite extraordinary. Really a high touch experience (though have to have WeChat to interface with them)-Option to use YouTube really opens up the songbooks—-not at all limited by the capacity of the song library itselfCons:-Interface can be a bit unresponsive: frequently have to touch a few times on touchscreen and also the initial boot up time is a bit slow-Instructions came in Chinese only (though English manual is available upon request from customer service)-Song selection in English can be limited for more obscure singers (for instance, my daughters love Rachel Platten (fight song) and couldn’t find anything by her. There’s supposed to be a feature to request songs; have not tried yet-The search interface is not intuitive. You are supposed to search by the first initials (e.g., Bruce Springsteen = “BS”). That system doesn’t work well if singer has only a single word name, since you get all singers with that first initial.-Wish there was a way to permanently hide songs in languages that we’re not interested in: the machine offers songs in so many different languages and all of them show up in search results (see above re: non-intuitive search function)-Sound adjustment can be limited: no way to adjust each mic’s sound level independently-The mic’s that are provided use AA batteries, which drain after a few hours of singing. Not eco friendly for long term use.
