IREENUO Dog Muzzle to Prevent Biting Barking and Chewing with Adjustable Loop Breathable Mesh Soft Fabric

What I mean is, it's perfect because my dog isn't supposed to like it. The way you use this is you put it on the dog not before he bites but after. And then the dog learns that every time he bites he gets a certain time out. With this anti-bite muzzle collar. And it it causes the dog to realize that there's a direct transaction between his actions and this negative response, one that he really does not like. Finally you're empowered to do something that the dog doesn't like, and the dog will not want to bite. Dogs have a natural sense of shame, and they will begin feeling ashamed. Every time that I've put one of these on a dog I've watched the dogs energy level go dramatically down I've watched the dog calm down and whether they're pouting or they are feeling bad they're being very sober about the fact that they know they're being punished. It should be noted that he can breathe perfectly well he can still drink water he technically could even still eat. What he can't do is he can't open his mouth wide enough to bite. After putting this on your dog a few times your dog will learn that his actions have a direct consequence, and hopefully it'll help minimize if not completely cure the biting problem.

It was soft and comfortable, but unfortunately our dog got it off easily and quickly. I tried to pull it myself, and was able to pull the strap out of the buckle with a tug several times on the first effort, but not every time. But with another tug or two, it came out. The strap is very long, apparently to fit a small-snouted or long-snouted dog. It needs velcro or something to keep it from separating from the other strap, but this would limit it to the length of snout. Or some kind of locking mechanism. I wanted it to work because it was comfortable, but was disappointed.

Been through a bunch of these from other sellers.....will only get this brand from now on. Very welll made and stays on the dog. A+

My little guy is feisty, and when he wants to talk to me, he barks. Barking is fine but not inside an apartment where neighbors can complain. When he won’t listen to the command to stop barking, I put him in this muscle. He becomes very embarrassed and puts his head down and gets very quiet. I leave it on for about five minutes and then remove it. He is usually settled down and knows what it means by then. The muzzle is easy to adjust with the strap around his head and the one that adjusts over his his snout. This muzzle is not painful physically for him to wear. It has worked very well for me with my pup. His behavior is improving and I am not as worried about neighbors.

Works great and seems to fit her comfortably for grooming. Was the best price at the time and turned out pretty nice.Now she just seems to rest calmly instead of trying to nip at the scissors.

Easy on, and great fit. It stays in place well!

Two small for my dog

This item was purchased to address what is likely an uncommon issue, but may have relevance to related behavior problems. Our "new" rescue - Riley - is a 4 y/o male 50% lab that is happy, energetic but completely undisciplined. He loves walks in the forest where he puts his nose to the ground and more-or-less drags me through the forest following scent trails, mainly those of box turtles. This pulling behavior was attenuated with the use of a prong collar, such that he determines the amount of tension, and pulls less. The bad news is that while turtle hunting is apparently a lab phenomena, Riley wants to crunch and swallow the numerous box turtles he will sniff out during his forest walks. Swallowing a whole or even broken up turtle would be disastrous, and could result in his death or require an expensive operation. Prying box turtles out of his mouth has involved some epic battles, requiring excessive tension on the prong collar while attempting to pry out the turtles with one gloved hand. Not what I want to be doing with this dog. He does NOT want to release his turtle catches.Today we fitted and used the IREENUO muzzle for his forest walk, also with the prong collar and leash. (Both can be used at the same time.) He does not like the muzzle, (and probably never will) but as soon as he was in the forest, he essentially ignored it, and was off on the scent trails as usual. With the muzzle on he was able to drink from a stream, pant properly, and even eat a dog biscuit, but was unable to get even a small box turtle into his mouth. While it's early in the use of this device, and too early to judge durability, it seems like it is working for its intended of purpose of preventing him from capturing, crunching and eating box turtles.

It fits well and he can still eat and drink. No barking or biting. We only leave on 5 or 10 minutes. He's catching on.
