I’ll say that I like the product. It smells nice and applies well, but the consistency is much more like a heavy conditioner than what I imagine a beard butter to be. It lacks the density and hold of a butter, which I use to complement an oil and conditioner first.

This is a large jar of beard butter -- while I of course could've looked closer at the size, I didn't pay attention when ordering it and expected a much smaller jar similar to the pomades and whatnot that I'd gifted my husband before. I also had no idea what 'hinoki spice' smelled like but it turns out it is rather pleasant and by no means overpowering! It seems like a little bit goes a long way for this product, which I surely appreciate, as daily use can eat through a jar of anything, quite fast. Quantity for price, alone, validates this item, but quality makes it a star purchase!

Lotion is great for beards/mustaches. Smells great, makes facial hair very soft and can be used to tame strays hairs as needed. I use in both my beard and mustache regularly and am very impressed. Jar is larger than expected and has lasted a long time for me even with regular use.

Products like these are better purchased in person. Amazon sellers seem to be happy selling old and dried up products assuming return g it is more of a hassle than throwing it away. As I did with the one I bought. Straight on the trash can. Love the product. Just won’t buy online ever again. I would give it a solid 4 stars if it arrived not like a dried up paste/glue.

This particular one is thicker than the other beard butters from every man jack which I like. I feel that this one actually softens and hydrates. It smells exactly as described. The other scents like the sea salt one is a lighter almost like a lotion consistency. It smells good but I feel it's more for styling less conditioning.

This special batch of beard butter smells absolutely amazing in the Hinoki spiceScent. Leaves my beard well conditioned and smelling great. This version comes in a glass canister, which is different from the usual plastic, but I just have to remember to be more careful because of that. Enjoy it!
