Stunning for the Price!!!
I must have gotten a gem since this thing was mint! Neck was straight, all frets were level, and the quality was extremally high!Visually, the flame is stunning and I'm exited to use on my next project guitar!Con,The packaging was awful, but it luckily survived shipping.

It's really striped maple one piece.
It came in a foam sleeve inside a double box.Its a very nice ,highly figured, well finished one piece of roasted maple. No finish flaws or dings.Nut slot was well machined for the plastic nut witch was string filed well.Carve on headstock is well done.Happy to see, truss rod adjustment on the bottom instead of the top of headstock, illuminating the ugly truss rod hole.Frets are truly stainless, but do have sharp ends.Inlays are well done, and look ok.Now the not so good.Had a slight back bow, which I can correct.I believe the frets are glued on top of the fret board, not pressed in.You can not see any fret ends showing on the sides of fret board as normal.,thus making it impossible to hammer down any high frets, which it has, over 6.Thus will need a full fret job to correct.Because of headstock carve, will be tricking to install a string tree.Updated review at later date.im glad I only paid,20 bucks for it.i wish I bought more of these when they were on sale for 30 bucks now their 50 to 80 bucks

Good Neck for the Money
The wood is very nice, however when I received the neck the nut had fallen out and there was a chip knocked off the neck next to the nut slot. The neck is a little narrow and needed to be shimmed before tightened down. After installation I notice an outward bow but I believe it will straighten out once the strings settle in. The frets seem to be glued on not slotted. The frets were fairly smooth on the edges but not like a G&L or Fender. The over all look is good. Once played there was no noticeable buzzing or weird action problems. Just know if you buy one of these it will take a little work to get it to intonate and play properly. All in all I give it 3.5. If the nut would have stayed in and the chip wasn’t near the nut I would have given it a 4. Over all it was a good buy for the money.

Minimal fret work. Looks good.
I didn’t know what to expect at this price point. I was happily surprised with the fit and finish. Very minimal feet work. No really high frets, no buzz. The truss road adjustment is at the bottom. The exchange you make for a clean look at the headstock. No complaints.

good effort. but you get what you pay for.
i wanted to wait a bit for the neck to be on a guitar before reviewing. it's been 3 months of being a guitar neck.first, the goodi love the neck material. you couldn't build it for the price, so credit to them. it feels great and slippery, making moving up and down the neck easy. i also like the medium C profile, but that entirely personal preference.while the abalone inlays are hard to see on the very medium-toned fretboard, the side dots are black. So locating where you are on the neck is easy.it bolted right in as well with no fitment issues on the mighty mite body i have.now, the negatives...first. the frets. they are not level to start. so i leveled them. I expected that, it's $50. they are not pushed flush to the fretboard. not a real issue, but shows it isn't completed. but it's $50. the biggest issue with the frets is that they stick out on the ends and need to be filed down to avoid scratching or cutting the player. this is hard to do because the end of the fretboard is rolled everywhere, so they have to be filed further towards where the e strings are fretted. but not the end of the world, and it's $50.second, finishing. it's minor, but the skunk stripe sinks down into the neck near the headstock, so i feel the misaligned wood whenever my finger is on it.third, and by far the biggest issue, the truss rod is not strong enough to hold the neck in place. it came with a little relief, which i bolted up and the strings were miles off the fretboard on most of the neck, but especially the upper register. so i took it off (because adjustment is at the heel. it's a vintage spec, so i won't complain about that). i set there to be no relief, and it didn't make a difference. so finally, in desperation, i put back bow on the neck. and after stringing it up with 10's, we have the relief that you see in the pictures. recognizing the bridge is quite high, but if i put it any closer i get buzzing. even for $50, it unfortunately is not playableso if you're playing cowboy chords and want a cheap visual upgrade, and can live with having acoustic sized action up high, i can endorse it. But because of the relief issues, i really can't recommend for anything else. even though it was only $50, It is not playable. Even after several hours of labor, and though i like the appearance, i am going to have to put the mighty mite neck back on the guitar.

Gorgeous
Love the roasted maple, very smooth. I put it on a Harmony H-802 guitar my father gifted me. Had to alter the neck cavity a bit but it fits pretty well.
