The BluMotion from Blum is a very neat device. I would recommend it wholely. I ordered 19 of them to mount on my standard cabinet hinges in the kitchen and bathrooms. I was fortunate that my hinges were made by Blum so the BluMotion was compatible with no problems. The product works as advertised. They recommend using two per door for many doors and three per door for others. I have used only one per door for all doors except one which closes particularly hard. They work like a charm and dampen the closing in a very controlled manner. Installation and removal is super easy, so if they break I can replace them at low cost per unit. I don't expect them to break since all the pieces look and feel like they will last. I was amazed at the ease of installation - from opening the box to completeing 19 installations took about 20 minutes total.The suppliers (Woodworkers Hardware# exceeded expectations: the order was placed and a delivery estimate was provided. The delivery occurred 2 days before the start of the expected delivery date. It got here fast! Very happy with them. I did find a lower price #2.11 per BluMotion unit) at another online store, but Amazon got the sale because the price was competitive and the website I could actually trust :).Negatives: it was unclear when researching the product if they would be compatible with my hinges. The hinges I have are not labeled with a product serial number. The product documentation for the BluMotion makes statements similar to "for european hinges". I still don't know what a european hinge is, but apparently mine are compatible. The additional confusion was the photos in the documentation show hinges which do not look like mine, leading to additional uncertainty. Removing the confusion would have made the initial purchase decision easier. For example what measurements the hinge must conform to in order for the BluMotion to attach to it.Overall I think 5 out of 5 starts is warrented. The product itself is great. The purchasing experience on Amazon was great. The delivery experience was great. Job well done folks.

I ordered enough of these to do my entire house cupboards and love the soft close. The instructions make it look simple to install into our existing blum hinges, however, my husband had to use quite a bit of force to get them to fit. After putting in several of these hinge adaptors he found a method that worked for him so he had me order some more. We may have ordered the wrong style, however, these work great once they are put on the doors. Now i want to do my drawers--a little more expensive and more modifications required but we will probably do them in the future too. The soft close feature is worth the money and work!

I love how these pretty much upgrade your kitchen fora fraction of the price. All of our cabinets now close softly and these were literally a "snap" to install. I did have some fitment issues with a few of them so there are about 5 or 6 that are just sitting in a bag at my house. Not a big deal when they are this cheap. I added 2 to some of the bigger cabinet doors just to give it a little more resistance. Not that 1 wouldn't suffice, but I want to be sure no one slams them. I once had my in-laws over and they have soft close cabinets in their kitchen and they were either slamming our cabinets or leaving them slightly open since they were used to theirs. Now that we have these hinge mounts, no more issues.The extra bag of mounts and fitment are the reason for the star deduction.

This is exactly what I needed. All the cabinet doors in our house have the Blum hidden hinges but only those in the kitchen have the soft-close feature. This adds the soft-close feature to those hinges/doors without it. It is a simple snap-on closer that snaps onto the back of the Blum hinge and is identical to those the builder used for the kitchen cabinet doors over a decade ago. I have installed these and will now order the larger quantity of 20.

These just snap on to the existing hinges. Great price, and they work. You will enjoy how quietly the doors close. The cabinets I have in my kitchen which were recently upgraded and professionally installed have exactly the same damper.

These things are fantastic. They snap on easily, are also really easy to remove, and do just what they are supposed to. Build quality is great.You can get away with one for small cabinet doors, but you definitely need two (one per hinge) for larger doors. I'm putting two on nearly all my doors as that gives a totally silent soft close.Note that some sellers will try to charge you shipping per hinge, whereas some sellers (e.g. MC&S abbreviated) will not.

The product did not work and have been trying to return for refund for over two weeks with no success.

Only used one per cabinet door and they do the job perfectly!
