FLARE AUDIO Capsule Black - Tough Lightweight Aluminium, Water-proof, Keychain

I wanted this capsule as the bag my new isolate earplugs came in would never stand up to being in my pocket constantly (like the little soft plastic capsule I got with my Etymotic plugs does). this is a very sturdy capsule and I'm sure it will stand up to being on my key ring well. I got two o'rings with mine so I think it will be pretty watertight even though it just says splashproof.I have the standard aluminium plugs with the small ear foams on and they fit very well into this capsule. A little loose so I imagine both the medium and large ear foams would easily fit.I did have a look about to see if I could get something similar, cheaper, but similar capsules were a similar price and there was no guarantee that my plugs would fit. I also imagined that Flare would make these to a good standard so I took the plunge and i'm glad I did.

Wow it’s just what I wanted. Perfect size for carrying a few tablets for a day out. Not exactly what it was designed for but works great.

Ridiculously overpriced for what it is and for something that should come with the product- I spent £49.50 on the calmer pro’s which came with a mesh little drawstring bag which doesn’t do a great job at protecting the ear buds or attach them to a keyring safely.This case is much better than the mesh bag that came with the flares but it feel it should have been included. There’s also been a few times where I must have not screwed it back together and found the flares loose in my pocket.

Bought these for my noise sensitive son. He really rates them for being discreet and cutting out peripheral noise, allowing him to concentrate on what the teacher is saying.
