Hoenjuno 230W Voltage Converter 220V to 110V for Hair Straightener/Curling Iron, Travel Plug Adapter for EU/UK/AU/US/in/IT Power Converter Adapter Combo

Just returned from using this POWER CONVERTER with adapter plugs for Europe. Awesome. Very important that you are sure that you are using a POWER CONVERTER and not just an adapter plug for products from USA that run on 110 because Europe is 220 and without a POWER CONVERTER you will burn out whatever you are trying to use. Potential fire hazards. There are a lot of products listed on Amazon that are cheaper but they are just PLUG ADAPTERS, and do not say anything about power conversion. Many phones and other appliances are now rated to recharge from 80-240w, and they only need a plug adapter but if your product is listed as 80-120, without a power converter you will burn baby burn. Be careful, potentially dangerous, potential fire and electrocution hazard if you use the wrong thing. THIS UNIT HAS THE CONVERTER! compact, easy to pack, extension cord is great. Pack some 10 foot lightning cords for the phones and you won't have to crawl around on the floor. Please believe me I have had people "borrow" my stuff and burn it up because they did not know the difference between a plug adapter and a POWER CONVERTER.

I kept looking for something that would work in my living room that wasn’t your standard power protector, and this is what I was looking for all along. It makes it simple so that I don’t have to find blocks for my kids charges all the time. I charged phones and tablets quickly, and works super well. It isn’t huge so it doesn’t take up a lot of space which is perfect me. I can keep it out of the way.

Product arrived on time in condition as advertised. Definitely fits all travel destination needs, and takes the risk out of accidentally burning out your electronic devices. Generous number of outlets, more than you'll ever need at one time. Although, not heavy it is bulky, about the size of a small hardcover book. If you're traveling to just one country then you can find a lighter step-down. However, my last trip I passed through several countries in South America each with distinct electrical compatability issues, often several per country. This worked great and was worth its weight.

Writing the review I needed when browsing! - yes, you CAN use a curling iron or straightener -it will make a decent amount of noise when you do- for this I felt I needed to rush only for reading so many reviews about products being ruined but really it was fine and worked well -it did NOT work for my hairdryer. The dryer turned on but it barely worked. However, every place I went they had a dryer available so I didn’t even end up needing to use it. -there are more then enough outlets- the most I used it for was my phone and battery charger. -I assume this would be good for a family who had multiple phones to charge. -about the same price as the outlet but this also converted the power so it worked better for what I needed. -it came with the outlet for Italy- what I needed, however it also comes with several other adapters.

Just returned to the U.S. from Poland, Latvia, and Estonia. This converter worked great in all three countries. Used it all day every day. Charged my Iphone and a power bank at night. Charged my AirPods during the day and another power pack. It makes zero noise and did not get hot. (I had another brand that had a fan in it that drove me nuts at night and another that had a super bright light that was just about as bad. This has neither problem.) Highly recommend.

so, I travel abroad quite often and always pack traditional 220V-110V converters, they are bulky and somewhat heavy, the Hoenjuno Travel Voltage Converter seemed to be a suitable option, since it has 3 AC outlets, and the manufacturer added 3xUSB ports and a USB C port for convenience, wow I figured no more cubes and outlet converters. The AC outlets are not stable to plug a single device that draws more current than a light bulb, for instance the AC Adapter for my Macbook Air (30 watts) kept beeping every 30 seconds or so, as if you were plugging and unplugging. I've plugged in a heating pad and the mini display shows an error indicating to check the AC cable. In short for my purpouse it was useless. I do like the shape and exterior design, but apparently the internal electronics are not for world wide use, unless I've got a lemon but saddly there was no way to test it prior of my trip. I'm very dissapointed with the product, because I had to shop away from home for converters.

This is the most used devise we brought with us during our month long vacation in Europe. Not only does it have every adapter you will need to plug into the various different outlet in all the countries of Europe, it also converts the 220V to 110V which all my devises need. Please note, most adapters you will find will adapt to the different plugs, but most of them do not transform the power to 110V. It also has room for 3 grounded 110V devices and also has 3 standard 2.4A USP ports to charge all your usb devices and one 18W USB C port. If you are drawing a lot of juice, there is a built-in fan that will kick in to cool the unit down. I am VERY happy with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone traveling overseas.

Ordered this for an international trip. It worked out great and was nice to have multiple outlets in one unit. Worked perfectly as described.
