This has been a good help for my storm-anxious dogs. Recommended as an alternative to the more expensive products available.

I have a 1½ GS, he's the baby in my household. He's got a pitbull mastiff who is 10 and Pomeranian whose 9 therefore he's not an only dog but he was a bit overwhelmed with a guest who extended their stay, I had landscapers excavating our backyard and grandbabies a 7yr old, 2 yr old and a 1 yr old all going simultaneously. Oh one more thing, my groundskeeper has a new chihuahua puppy name Mia that he brings to work everyday. So way too much going on. Therfore I decided to get him this vest. My hubby was surprised because the minute I put on Wolfie he layed next to rhe couch much calmer. I continued putting this vest on him for days to come. I would leave it on him for 4 hours , take it off and play fetch, chase or bubbles or walk him. Then after he'd relaxed from his activities I placed on him again for a couple more hours. Once the workers would leave and the household settle down I would remove it. I did not leave it on him 24/7 because I wouldn't like to feel I'm in Spanx 24/7 so why would I do that to my dog. Lol! So Yes this vest worked fabulously for my boy. I would recommend it. It is made very well and very nice material.

This works wonders with both my German Shepard and Mini Aussie! It stretch’s to give a tight fit which immediately give them a warm hug! Very calming! Excellent purchase!

You would do better buying an actual thunder shirt- this is inferior by far- the fabric is crappy- it is really hard to figure out how to put it on- and the sizing is bizarre. I bought a large based on his chest girth. It stops above his waist. My dog is lean but this looks right for a beagle. My other dog has worn an actual thunder shirt for years. I know how to put them on.

This works so well for our dog. He calms down as soon as we put this on him. It’s not too tight and fits his perfectly. He’s a boxer pitty mix and this works so dang well for him when he’s a little out of hand.

After trying several other remedies for my poor dog during thunderstorms this item worked at keeping him calm !!

Like the material used to make this item. I know that it doesn't work for fireworks, my dog crawled between my legs when he heard them. As far, as the thunder goes - not sure if it will work.

Did not do anything for the anxiety or calm the dog at all. There was meant to be a ring included but it was not in the bag.

Poor quality, product defective, stitching missed velcro strips and will fall apart. Seller agreed to refund but shipping will cost me the same as already spent on defective product. Seller should either refund or send replacement for defective item.
