This is even better than the CeraVe hydrating cleanser. Its more gentle and hydrating. No lather. Its not supposed to. You rub it on and wipe it off with a moist cloth and pat dry. It goes a long way with a little bit. Easy to use and softens my face like crazy! Very nice and I bought another bottle right away. Cleans well and gets off oil and dirt and makeup nicely. Its thick and creamy and very much like a lotion that cleans.

I use it morning and evening, it leaves my face clean, fresh and not dry. After use always use a face lotion and face sunscreen to protect your face from the Sun. Good quality for skin irritation problems and it foams nicely, so one pump it's enough to wash your face.
