I enjoy learning the details and becoming informed about anything in which I engage. This book delivers on those aspects. Excellent book with illustrations and a ton of information. I recommend the book if you want to learn a lot about stretching.

priceless knowledge in a very accessible format
THis book is well thought out, and topics presented, from an overview of the body - muscles, skeletal, nervous systems and brain, to how precisely stretching works for every part of the body. Loaded with practical exercises for every part of the body, as well as for a holistic perspective - its lovely to see famiilar yoga exercices from a stretching and joint/muscle/tendon/ligament angle. The illustrations are incredible, the font is very readable, not too much information on any page, yet full of goodness. Lovely layout and size. Kudos to Dr Leada Malek for such a gift to humanity.

Cheap and thorough.
Great book for not much money. DK always has a good product. Bought following hip surgery, PT guy approved. Covers numerous stretches with good illustrations. This book and some time on YouTube is all you need.

Highly recommend!
I’ve had more than one book on stretching, but this one is by far the best. Easy to follow directions broken down into steps. Very detailed explanations of what each stretch is for and how it helps. I especially like that it gives options depending on your level and ability.

I read a lot of books on exercises. This is easily the best I come across. Detailed pics, explanation and routines for different kinds of sports and scenarios. This is a book I really read and practice daily. It helps a lot and loosen my stiff neck.
