Good selection of tools. Useful. Good value %or the money

I looked at a lot of tap and die sets before deciding on this one. I am very pleased with my purchase. I have purchased several Vevor products and they have all been surprisingly good value for the money. This set is no different. I use it for a well setup hobby shop. This set has a huge well organized assortment and has just about every size covered that I could see needing anytime soon. It has done everything I have needed so far. It is not a master machinist set but is an extremely good value for the price point.

Haven't used yet but seems like good quality

I expected this to be a low-grade product, and it certainly doesn't disappoint. I took a chance, given I rarely need to rethread a fastener, but I have buyers remorse. Never mind the cheap, pot-metal handles, which I am sure will fail; the plastic case is poorly designed. None of the dies snap into place. That's right. So, if you close the case from the die side, all the pieces fall out onto the bench. So I know what you're thinking, close it the other way. Well, some of the taps don't snap into place properly, so they fall out. I know this is a low-cost set, but being able to close the case without all the pieces falling out is a pretty basic requirement. Do not buy this set.

Tap and die set it’s sufficient for what I need making threads for small nuts and bolts. Happy with the product would recommend for anyone looking to do work. it’s good to have it when threads get stripped out.

I purchased this set because it had the most taps and dies of any that I could find. What I didn’t appreciate by looking at the pictures, for example, was that the largest two taps didn’t fit into anything in the set to turn them. I would have never thought to check that. I wrote the company about this and they suggested that I use a wrench that I might already have in my possession that opens up large enough to grip those taps. The whole idea of the T- bar is so that you can center the tap while putting vertical pressure while turning so that it doesn’t move side to side when turning. What wrench would anyone have to do that other than a large enough T-bar? No apology for making something that doesn’t fit into their own equipment was offered. I think you might be able to grind the inserts in the T-bar to make it open a few millimeters larger, but I didn’t want to do that for fear the T-bar may not work smoothly after modification and I didn’t need to use those large taps just yet. Second, the small T-bar doesn’t hold the taps securely enough to prevent them from falling out while using them. This is due to a cheaply made T-bar that doesn’t sufficiently stay tightened around the tap. I think this is due to the screw not having fine enough gradations. It looks good, but it isn’t. No way to fix that. Third, I tried the broken screw removal tool but the taper was so long I couldn’t get the device to grip the screw. There isn’t anything to drill out the screw to let the removal tool in either as in other sets dedicated for this purpose. Fourth, the organization of the devices in the case defies logic. Because of this, it takes quite a while to find what you want. You also have to remove multiple taps to get to the screw gauges but don’t worry they’re not terribly functional so you can just leave them behind the taps and forget about them. Sixth, if you open the case with the wrong side up, everything will fall out, but it’s marked well enough that this shouldn’t happen, at least not too often. I purchased this set for the sheer selection of sizes, but I think the company could have put some effort into making me want to use their equipment.

Idag jag testade en gängsnit M10x1,5 att rengöra gammal skruv från tätningmassa och jag fick en gång 9,2mm. (Toppen på bilder). Testar inte annat storleken. Om resten funkar likadant jag kommer att reklamera produkten.

Have used a fair bit already and works well , worth purchasing

die Lieferung war schnell und reibungslos. Schön alles im Koffer verpack. Nur manche Teile sind sehr locker in den Fassungen drin und wenn man den Koffer aufmacht, fallen sie schon entgegen.
