Great firm product for kneeling praying and meditation I love it

I want to first start this review by saying I received this item for free but that this does not affect my review or opinion of the item. I also would like to note that I have received quite a few Wellrox items for free, but this still does not affect my review. For all of the Wellrox items I am reviewing, I am giving a short explanation as to why I chose these items since I ordered so many: I recently started practicing yoga for physical and mental health reasons. I had some yoga equipment already, but it was kind of cheap and falling apart, so I was looking for some better yoga equipment to replace it. My knowledge of yoga is also limited to a few blogs and gym classes, so I really only know that Yoga requires a mat and maybe some yoga blocks. When I saw this brands items popping up when I was searching, I got curious about the many options I had for equipment through them, and decided to order a bunch of their items to try. The Review: I had never actually heard of a "bolster" Pillow before, and had to do some research as to what it is and how to use it. After following a Youtube yoga routine (If you've seen my Wellrox item reviews on other items, you know Youtube is my common go-to for Yoga routine videos) I can say I am really glad I received this bolster pillow. Using it was absolutely wonderful and added another layer of variety to my Yoga practice as I learn. As far as the quality of the Pillow itself, It is just as nice as all of the other Wellrox Items I have received. Its very firm and larger than I was expecting, then again I have never had a Bolster pillow before. I also appreciate the handle on the side of the pillow, It makes it easy to take out of storage and put away. If your needing a bolster pillow for any reason I can definitely recommend this item. I wanted to close this out by adding that all of the items I have received from Wellrox seem to be very high quality. I had never heard of the brand before and decided to research them a bit, it seems they are a company that specializes in podiatrist approved sandals. I would say you cannot go wrong with anything from this brand, and I highly recommend them. This is of course my own opinion, as well as comparing them to my past yoga equipment. This is the first meditation cushion I’ve used before. So far I’ve used it when I’m away from my regular work desk & want to sit in the sun with my laptop. There is also a tea shop that has traditional low seating, so I’ll use the cushion to keep me high enough to be able to do work at the table. The size and density of this cushion are great. The cushion is firm when you sit so it doesn’t feel unstable, but not so much that it’s uncomfortable to sit for a longer period of time. The carrying handle is a great touch whether you want to attach it to a bag while traveling, or just carrying it when you have other items in your hand. My one criticism of this product is that there is a very strong chemical/ plastic smell when you first open the package. I unzipped the cover and ended up spritzing the cushion and cover a couple times a day with Febreeze for at least three days before the smell started to dissipate. So just a warning if you plan to use it right away, the smell may be quite strong. I don't think this detracts from the product as a whole, but just something to be aware of.

The seat is a little harder than I would like it. I know in yoga you are meditating but that doesn’t mean you have to full lack comfort. That beg said it’s not a bad seat. I like that it has a handle which make is simple to carry around and to hang up if needed. It’s just the right size to sit when doing calming yoga moves or even to sit with your legs crossed. It helps with the legs falling asleep. The quality of the fabric is great. It gets hard to stuff the insert in after opening it but once you get it in the zipper closes no problem.

This is a nice quality cushion – it has a good weight to it and densely packed with cotton so that sitting on it definitely won’t go flat. It did come with a pretty strong smell from the factory, maybe as if it were treated with something – I took the beige cotton-stuffed part out and let it air for three days now, I’m thinking it’s the grey cover that is where the smell is coming from. It’s not vinegar, but some kind of factory/machine type of smell - that’s an easy wash at least. The stitching throughout and the embroidery is great quality, the fabric is sturdy and feels good, and the hand strap feels like a proper handle that won’t rip off or break as some others I’ve had have done. I use this for both sitting on, propping up behind my back in bed, or on my lap with my tablet on top for reading – it’s a great height for me and super comfortable (I’m 5’2” and prefer very firm cushions).

This Wellrox meditation cushion is different from others I've had since this is more lightweight and portable. I have been into breathwork these past few months and prior to having this, I have been taking a typical-sized meditation pillow that is bigger and heavier. This Wellrox meditation pillow has replaced the one I usually take with me on my sessions since I got it due to the fact that this is more lightweight. Can I say that I like this overall? Honestly, I'm not sure. I like all my meditation pillows to be honest. Each of them are different and are important tools to my practice. This one definitely deserves to shine, though as it's rugged and durable for me to lug around to different places that are usually outdoors. If you have an outdoor meditation practice, this may be a cushion to consider.
