Bellroy Market Tote – (Tote Shoulder Shopping Bag) - Burgundy

I was looking for a lightweight tote, unisex in design for a guy and with a minimal footprint for packing in luggage. I've currently been a using a Trader Joe's heavy duty cotton tote for week-long retreats, to carry essentials from my room to the meeting space. I haven't yet used this tote, but it looks like it will fit all my needs. The dimensions are very close to my current TJ's tote, it's very compact & packable, the straps are long enough to drape over 1-shoulder and I love the two open-ended sleeves on the interior. One will hold my water bottle and the other my coffee mug and keep them upright. I wasn't sure if I liked the stiffness of the polyester, but it actually adds to the function of the tote so it will stand upright more easily when set down. The polyester material feels rugged and durable, the seams well-sewn and the tote is reasonably priced.

This product is extremely well made and extremely durable. I have been using this as my "backpack" for 4 years to carry a ton of heavy items including multiple water bottles and my laptop almost daily. This bag has seen the beach, the grocery store, the university, and it is still in pristine, undamaged condition. This tote bag is extremely worth the money by nature of its durability and comfort compared to any other tote bag I've tried. Additionally, the smooth handle do not damage clothing. I own both the Khaki color and the Pavement color—both of which maintain their color and have incredible durability despite rough handling and the washing machine. I also gifted this tote bag twice and they have become an instant favorite.

Honestly the best part are the fun colors. But, I have also been using these bags for a couple months now. And the build quality is quite nice also. I have bought other Bellroy items and just perceive them as high quality. I first learned about Bellroy when looking more into smaller compact wallets but still enough to have 6-8 cards. Happy I gave them bag a chance also given my past experience with the brand. The pictures given show this but it has nice slots to hold a wine bottle and keep stuff organized. I have often used it for shopping but have also used the bag to hold stuff if i go swimming. Plenty of utility.

It’s roomy and made of high quality materials. It’s foldable, making it a perfect travel tote.

This is definitely NOT the cheapest or best value bag. But it's a great bag! I love the internal pockets. It is sturdy enough that it stays up well enough at self-check out or wherever else you're putting groceries in it. It folds up nicely and is perfect for always having a grocery bag in the car.

This is a great market tote. I have it inside my bag at all times and I just pull it up whenever I need extra room. The two sleeves for the wine are great. My only qualm with this market tote is that it doesn't have a strong bottom. Actually it doesn't have a structured bottom at all. But I understand why it doesn't. Doing so would make it less portable. Overall, this is my go to bag for the market. I also take it with me during trips so that if there is something that I want to buy, I don't have to worry about carrying it around and can put it in the bag.
