I recently purchased the Torin TORT825051 Hydraulic Low Profile Trolley Jack, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance! Could never get my RAV4 high enough with any other jack to easily rotate tires on my own. Was always having to use blocks of wood on top of or under my jack, which was not making me feel safe. I bought two of these and it was a great investment! I now can stick one at each end of the car and raise one whole side at a time. The swivel function of the handle lets me turn both towards me and I can raise both ends of the car simultaneously. I didn't know if I would really like the swivel handle part of these but once you have it, you're going to wonder why all jacks don't have the feature.

I have been doing some modifications on my Q3 with the original equipment provided by Audi. I don't much like the scissors jack that they give you. As I have been doing a bit of work with the wheels in particular, I decided I needed a floor jack. I wanted one with enough lift but at a reasonable price. These TORIN Big Red ones seemed to fit my needs. As my SUV has a curb weight of 3900+ pounds, I opted for the 2.5 Ton rated one. It was able to lift the car without much effort. I was able to make my modifications fairly quickly. I think this is a great floor jack.

PRO: Price. Can use handle in tight spots as you don’t have to keep it straight and raise at angles. CONS: If you use the extension, it can only handle 2.5 tons vs 3.0 tons. So that’s a surprise I didn’t expect! Quality is a bit cheaper but not a deal breaker. A few reviews claimed that Oil leaks out after sometime. As I have not owned it long, jury is still out on that. The shipment comes in original packing and it’s pretty beat up by the time you get it. My Jack came scraped & scratched & box ripped with holes etc.

This jack works great for cars less than 3 tons; anything above that and it will stall out.

Strong for a compact floor jack, lifts 1 side front my 2004 Duramax 3/4 easily.

I have only used it twice since I bought it and both times I have been very dissatisfied with this product. There is a lot of resistance when using the lever and it always leaves a puddle of oil when used. What is worse is that, no matter how careful you are, when trying to lower it, the movement is sudden and abrupt. There is no possibility to do it gradually. It is definitely a very bad product. It's a pity I can't return it.

first i see all of these negatives that i feel are unfounded. this is a small 70$ jack. I have purchased these for years and worked on tons of vehicles with them- they are just like almost every other jack in this price point- (I have other larger jacks as well). when i was younger this was th only type of jack i could afford and did a lot of work using them. It isn't the most maneuverable, but it is enough. it also is not meant to lift some huge vehicle ( although i have used one to lift a full size van in a pinch). As far qs coming down and so forth -you have to do the initial procedure before you use it to bleed any air trapped in the piston. you also always use jack stands no matter what jack you use. the only reason I had to buy this was that one of mine went MIA somewhere. -Oh one more caveat is this one has the "low profile" feature which is helpful.

This is a great value set when you consider that it comes with a pair of stands which is a safety must if you are planning to raise your car for home maintenance. Never work on a car that is only supported by a jack and always place stands under the car, in case the car comes off the jack unexpectedly. This set has a pretty decent lifting capacity at 2 tons and very small footprint for storage and hassle free handling. The only negative is that it is NOT suitable for SUVs or cars with a high center of gravity. As you can see in the picture, I have had to space it up to lift my SUV but with an additional stand under the car, it is a pretty safe lift. Never work under your car, alone. Make sure someone is watching and knows how to handle jacks.

This jack is so easy to use, safe, I love that the swivel mechanism allows me to position the jack in a safe way to lift, even on slight inclines. the adjustable height makes it so easy to lift both short or tall vehicles. My only issue is that there is no handle to lift but other than that, It's excellent.

Work as it should. I used it to lift a Santa fe and an Audi S5 and I've had no leak.
