Is there any chance that the puppy could get to the batteries please? How are they secured? Thank you

HI there, we purchase the Little Buddy for our Cavapoo. The heartbeat (hard plastic heart) is encased in a zip up pocket under the lamb. Our puppy quickly worked out how to undo the zip and get to the heart, but the hard plastic heart in which the battery is cased is very difficult for a little dog to get into. Should be quite safe.

Can you machine wash and tumble dry Iobvs without heart left inside)?

I have washed but line dried and was good. But yes took heart out

How else can you safely heat the heatpack? I don't have a microwave.

I didn't even know there was a heat pack in it I just press the button and the heartbeat comes on my pup loves it and settles in minutes highly recommend
