I hesitated buying this necklace because I wondered if it was real copper. I have other copper jewelry that does turn with a petina finish, but I have only worn this for a few days, don't shower with it or wear 24/7 and it looks terrible and fell off my neck as the round piece that holds the pendant to the chain opened up. I wish this was better quality as I love the design of it, but as for durability, it doesn't hold up. Will stick to buying verified copper on Etsy.
