The shelves expand. You just have to Pull them Out. Then they fit.

Are these Barbie scale?

They are mini figurines so I do not believe they are of Barbie scale.

Why is it missing shelves and other pieces it shows on the box

Ok so I reordered it for my niece and it came the exact same way so she looked closer at the box and instructions and here’s what she said Yes we got it and the same parts are missing but I read closer and it actually wasn’t supposed to come with it. It came with all the parts listed in the booklet. You can buy more to expand the store. But it actually came with the exact parts listed in the booklet.
