FWIW, these are initial impressions. I got these for long car trips, for cold/hot drinks. The coating is done well, the stainless steel guage is to me a good balance between not flimsy and not heavy. The straw-able lids fit well. Cups fit (mostly) into the cup holders on my vehicle. I can't speak to the durability of the coating, but even if it wears off, I figure what would be left is a ss cup.Changing to 5 stars. After a week of daily use for cold and hot traveling by car, picnic-ing and beach-ing, the cups are quite nice, haven't suffered any noticeable wear (see pic). They keep cold and hot pretty well, the lids have silicone gaskets and are snug. I paid $15.12 for a set of 4, which I think is a great deal. Have not used them in a dishwasher, so I can't comment on that. They fit more on top of the car cup holders than in, but at least in my car's holders it's a secure fit.

function:- hot drink stays hot (taking to work and drinking immediately, no further tests conducted)- it does not leak if nestled in cup holder of my ten year old Land Rover (no further tests conducted, though its obvious it would fail if it were tipped. It has to stay level).- Weeble-Wobble design principle at its base helps resist tipping; it's not just a low ball.- ergonomic - it feels good to hold.- bowl-like interior at the base makes it easy to clean. It's also wide enough at the mouth to allow my entire hand inside for cleaning.form:Very pleasing to the eye in its almost Brancusian simplicity. It's pretty and simple. I am very happy with this purchase. I'm considering other colors, but you may have noticed I'm a purist and the pearly white is perfection, in my not-so-humble opinion. ;-)Before you buy anything, ask yourself questions about how you will use it and what is most important to you about it. We're often trying to solve problems of inconvenience when we buy things like this. What are you trying to solve?

The price on these was really fair for how nice they were. They came nicely wrapped with no scratches or dents. They don't have a mouthpiece that slides to cover the hole so they aren't leak proof but the lids fit on really nice. I got them to put vinyl stickers on as a bridesmaid gift and the girls loved them! The stickers went on nice and stuck too.

This is a great glass. I love stainless steel drinking vessels. They keep hot drinks hotter and cold ones colder, and things just taste better. I have a 20 oz stainless tumbler that I drink coffee out of every morning and got this glass for drinking water. I wouldn't mind if it was just a little bigger but it works fine, and is compact so I can pack it and take it with me when I travel. Fair price and nice design.For wine, I purchased a pair of similar glasses that have stems.

This is a pretty good looking cup and, at the time I bought it, cost me about $6. I was curious to see how this cup would stack up against the Yeti, which runs about 4 times as much. I set up an experiment where I filled a plastic cup, the Maars cup, and a Yeti Rambler with chilled water. This isn't a scientific experiment for a few reasons: (1) I used a 30 oz. Yeti Rambler and not the 10 oz. wine glass and it's possible that may have effected the results. But I didn't have a 10 oz. Yeti, which is why I bought these. (2) I didn't measure out the exact same amount of water in each cup. I basically eyeballed it. (3) My daughter drank some of the water out of the control cup part way through.But don't worry, I'm not submitting this to any peer reviewed journal. I don’t often post reviews, but this product FAR exceeded my expectations!! It is a great looking stemless wine cup (I got 4 white ones), and I ordered it because I figured stainless steel would keep the beverage cooler longer for when we’re out, on the beach, etc. when my husband saw my purchase he was skeptical - “why do we need these?”Then we tried them. Wow. They are insulated, so neither temperature nor condensation from the cold drink reaches the outside. With or without the lid on, ice cubes in drinks lasted for hours!So my husband and I are going on a sailing trip in Europe with several couples and HE came up with the idea of buying each person a different colored cup for the trip so we could tell them apart. We are both totally impressed with the performance of this cup! Deserves the time for a review...

This cup is quality and one of the best stainless steel cups I’ve bought on Amazon. The color is flattering, keeps your drink cold for hours. Easy to get a metal straw and use it with this cup. I would purchase this as a gift again.
