You need a japanese playstation account for dlc
The game is region Japanese so it's just translated, you have to have a Japanese playstation account to download other songs. Do yourself a favour and buy the digital version it will be in your own region.

Love this game! Just wish it had more English songs =) I get that it’s a Japanese game though, so of course Japanese Songs.

Highly Addicting Game
If you're an avid fan of rhythm games like I am, and you also love Anime and Japanese Pop music, you'll love this game. I would highly suggest getting a Taiko drum controller with this game too.

I played the first time with this game in japan and i loved it. When i discovered that it exists for ps4 i bought it immediatly

English Subs, Great! Game content?
The game is great but I feel that they decided to remove unlockable tracks to dlc only. The base track list is very minimal. But fans will enjoy the handful of new songs.
