This product was revieved exactly as described however it is worth noting that this does not work with Google Pixel phones. I can't mark it down for this though as it isn't the products fault I read the page wrong. I use it with a different phone now and it works great.

Bought this after I purchased another that was £6.99 just for comparison purposes as this one is allegedly an official one; I thought this would be far superior - oh so NOT so!! I have high quality Seinheiser earphones and the sound quality that came out if this £3.29 jack was absolutely appalling in comparison to the £6.99 non Huawei I had already purchased. I find it unbelievable that Huawei would have made such a poor sound quality jack knowing everything else on my Huawei phone is of such a high standard. I so, so recommend that you don't bother with this product and invest a bit more in another one. Do your research. I wonder if this product really is an official Huawei product although the seller's get out clause states it might come without an Huawei sticker - hmm how convenient!! (mine had no sticker). As another reviewer stated, I think amazon should look into this. I would have sent this back, but as it was only £3.29, it's not worth the effort and has since gone in the bin. As I was able to compare my 2 jacks together, I can confidently say this product is very poor indeed.

Fits snugly in my Huawei P20 Pro and works well with a pair of Jabra headphones I have for video conferencing. When I connect the headphones the phone displays an alert saying "Type-C analogue headphones. We recommend using the Huawei Type-C digital headphones for a quality music experience" but this seems to be little more than advertising, having read up a bit on native Type-C earphones which seem to bring little more (& potentially less!) audio fidelity to your listening experience.

Ordered these on Amazon, after buying a jack from a reputable high street shop, that were made for another brand of phone, but due to different conductor placement on the inside, meant volume was restricted to a mere whisper. A trick Huawei have obviously employed so at to guarantee purchase of their own products - a typical dirty Apple tactic. Bought these for a good price and although can't vouch for durability, as haven't had them long, the volume is restored and they work just fine. The way to tell these aren't a genuine Huawei product is there's nothing on the jack saying so and every time its plug in the phone displays a message notifying you to the fact. All in all it works, which is the main thing for the cheap price.

Bought less than a year ago and the cable is already broken inside so the connection is lost unless you hold it in a certain way. Whilst relatively cheap, so are my wired headphones but those last typically 3-4 years without developing any issue (All thin cables on these products will fail it is just a matter of time. The lower quality ones will break a lot sooner, same with headphones). So for durability, this simply isn't good enough. I will not be buying again and instead will look for a more durable product. However, no complaints about the sound quality, it is reasonably good. Not a bad price either at the time of writing. Just appreciate that this is a cheap item and do not expect it to last. Also watch out, a lot of the 1 star reviews seem to be from people who have phones without a DAC (which will make this device unable to be recognised and therefore not work at all), which suggests that this dongle doesn't contain a DAC. So if you're going to buy it, check to make sure your phone has a DAC first. If your phone does have a DAC (Like my Oneplus 9 Pro), you're likely better off with this product than one with a cheap DAC, as the sound quality in those can be terrible. My recommendation would be to buy a better, more durable product. But finding the right one is a minefield as you will never know how long they last. For this one you know now, expect <1 year. So if you don't mind replacing every year or so and your phone has a DAC, this one would be an option for you.

This adapter is very keenly priced. The only thing missing is the Huawei logo although the code on the packaging is the same as the adapter that was supplied with my Huawei M5 tablet. Initially I found when plugging my headphones into the adapters 3.5mm socket required some firm pressure to be correctly seated, at my first attempt I did not hear any sound at all until I had checked the connection. I have tried various headphones with this adapter and they all work fine. This is an update to my original posting, as of today (12th October 2019) I can confirm that this Huawei adapter also works with my new Sony Xperia 1 mobile phone giving excellent sound quality with the numerous headphones that I have tried.

L'adattatore ha il marchio Huawei stampato sul connettore usb C, si presenta molto compatto e a mio avviso il cavetto dà una certa impressione di fragilità (ha un diametro veramente piccolo e ha poca consistenza al tatto). Appena connesso allo smartphone (meglio collegare prima la cuffia, che fa un bel "clic" quando è inserita in posizione corretta) l'adattatore viene subito riconosciuto. Ho provato sia con cuffie con connettore TRS (senza microfono) che con cuffie con connettore TRRS (con microfono) e in entrambi i casi l'audio è buono e funzionano come ci si aspetterebbe. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Lo que yo buscaba,un adaptador no un dac que está lleno de ellos.Este simplemente funciona a la primera para escuchar música, está reconocido por el teléfono como auriculares con cable y emplea el dac interno del movil,con sus limitaciones, pero cumple de sobra en volumen y claridad ,con auriculares Xiaomi , mejor.El cable podría haber sido mas sólido.Es compatible trs o trrs de enchufe 3,5mm.
