peepers by peeperspecs Bellissima Rectangular Reading Glasses

I just ordered a second pair of these to keep at work. Same seller, same color and style but when this pair arrived I noticed a big size and color difference. is much bigger and the color Why the big difference in sizing and color? The hinges are very different from one pair to the other as well. Also, there is a p stamped on the arm of one and the brand is written inside as well. The other one has none of that. Why such a difference?....Review from the first pair I bought:I have to update my review to be fair.I decided to wear them for a day when My other ones broke. They felt much more solid than my other glasses and I did get several compliments. I still am not crazy about the color and wish it was more navy as described but they are actually OK. I’ll keep them and add a couple stars.I got the navy/green ones because they looked great in the photo but I’m person they are more of a bright blue and lime color. Also, they don’t have a shine at all... they are a flat matte and extremely light weight which makes them look cheap. I was so excited to receive these because I literally live in the inexpensive multi-packs of plain black ones and those break quickly. But these don’t even compare to those...

I ordered these based on a pair that I bought a couple of years ago in a store while traveling. I looked at which brand they were because I wanted another stronger pair. The ones I have now are 3 years old and still in perfect condition. The name I found on them is Sammann. When I searched that brand, Peepers came up, so they must be the same company. I didn't see the style I wanted at the time of the order, so I ordered these not noticing that they are square shaped, and the ones I have are rectangular. The description does not delineate the shape for the square style, but when I looked further to exchange and re order another pair, I noticed that they do delineate when they're rectangular.This style is much flimsier than I thought they would be, and a bit small for me even though I have a small head and face. It's lucky that they hinge out a bit to help with putting them on. I don't like the material, or feel of these glasses and hope that the ones I ordered will be like my Sammanns which is smooth and sturdier texture. I looked through all of the rectangular shapes glasses and found the ones that look like mine, and hope that they are the same.They should arrive in a few days so I'll let you all know.

Update: I've now been wearing these for a year and they are still holding up! The minor irritation I mentioned in my prior review is a non-issue, don't even notice it. I'm changing my review from 4 stars to 5. Also, I'm purchasing the red/grey pair today too!I've been wearing these for 2 days and they seem very sturdy and durable. I'm prone to breaking arms off my glasses because I put them up on my head a lot but I think these readers can take it and won't break. I love the colors, navy blue and lime green. I had a hard time finding true navy blue readers but these are a true navy blue. The reason I took off 1 star is because the bottom edges of the frame, where the lens meets the frame, are almost white and it reflects that white back at my eyes. A minor irritation, something I think I can get used to.

I saw these at a store and liked the two-toned (inner/outer) color and well made quality and the little metal garnishments on the edges. Just wish the blue color was a bit more vibrant in room lighting situation and I found the lenses just a tad small for my face (which of course if a very subjective thing). I'd consider another pair but would want to see them in a store first to be sure the color, fit and lens size is what I want.

These are so cute and comfortable. I fell in love with them immediately, but unfortunately they broke the first month I got them, and being extremely ill at the time, I was never able to return them. To this day, I haven’t a clue what happened as no one lives here but me, and I hadn’t even worn them yet. So disappointing. I love everything about them, but apparently they’re really not very strong. They broke right in half at the bridge, and I’ve never had another pair of glasses do this.

Wow! I absolutely 'love' these reading glasses! They are totally above a bunch of the others I have tried, by far! I had one pair that my skin apparently ate the paint off of them, (from Walmart)! Yuck! And they were thin too. These are made really nice, comfortable, thick, but not too thick. I like how they look too, on me & seeing through them. Recommend these glasses highly. They are very much worth their price value & better!

These reading glasses are comfortable due to the flex hinge and provide better performance than less expensive reading glasses I have tried because the lenses are clear and distortion free.Pros:* good quality, clear lenses, which is ultimately the most important factor* comfortable due to flex hingeNeutral (may be cons for some):* heavier frame than some reading glasses, which may be less comfortable for some, but also feel sturdier* Larger lens area than some reading glasses, which provides a larger field of view but also makes it impossible to look up and over for a longer distance view (as you can with the smaller or half height reading glasses)
