Hahnemühle Watercolour Bookmark Pad

At first, I thought it was ridiculous to buy these when I could just cut down watercolour paper I already had. But I saw the great reviews and decided to give them a try anyway. I'm glad I did. The paper is excellent. It takes the paint well and does not buckle. It's also a nice surface for working with Micron pens. They make nice bookmarks that you can keep or give as gifts. You could also cut them in half and make gift or journaling tags. You could also use them for swatch cards. I would buy these again.

Item as described! The paper quality was thick and great for water coloring. I used these as a craft for teenagers. They really enjoyed painting on these bookmarks!

I purchased this item for the first time and found it to be easy to use. The paper is quality, however I found if I got it too wet, it had a tendency to curl slightly when dry, which I wasn't crazy about. It says it's 100% cotton and 300 g/m, but the quality isn't quite there. If I make my own bookmarks from say Arches watercolor paper, there is a difference. That being said, I would suggest not wetting down the entire b/m before painting and you'll have success.

LOVE the quality of the paper! New to watercolor and these are just perfect. The paper is nice and thick so bleeding is never an issue. Will definitely be buying more, great value for the price.

Ein liebevolles Detail: Durch das handliche Format eignen sich die Blätter nicht nur für Lesezeichen, sondern auch wunderbar für kleine Collagen oder Farbtests. Insgesamt ein hochwertiger, durchdachter Block, der sofort Lust macht, kreativ zu werden.

Sono una principiante, quindi non una grande conoscitrice di carte, ma per iniziare credo sia davvero una buona scelta. La carta è di qualità, non si imbarca come molte altre e tiene bene l’acqua. Vale assolutamente il prezzo: acquisto molto soddisfacente!

Great fun size for making some cute watercolour bookmarks. Hahnemuhle Paper as usual is first class and the paper weight is perfect for a book mark. Would buy again.
