I was pleasantly surprised when I applied the make up to my face . It blended in with my skin tone and is light! I’ve received many compliments since wearing it . I will be buying it again.

It's a beautiful color and shimmer, but you can't put it over other makeup. I tried using it as highlighter, but it's so thin and watery that it visibly wipes off foundation/powder. If you don't use foundation, it does give a pretty shimmer to your skin, but I wouldn't recommend it as highlighter (which is what its advertised as). I guess you could use it for eyeshadow, but only if you don't also use powder shadow with it or only use powder over top of it after it has dried. Not worth the money in my opinion.

chunky consistency and little pigment

This is not what I was expecting. That's probably my fault for not reading all the reviews. I would not call this highlighter; this is glitter! There is nothing discreet about it. If you like to wear glitter this is for you, but I won't use it...ever. I guess the fashion trend in makeup nowadays is lots of glittery shadows, etc. so this will work well for younger women who like that sort of thing. But honestly, if you're over 35, I think this is one of those options you should probably avoid. It's pretty, but it is definitely not for me.
