No impact on long term redness, but very few things do that. If your skin gets a flare up, flushed or irritated more than normal though, it does do a good job of soothing and calming it though and does feel nice to use. The price is very steep but it is one of the better soothing products I've used.

Hydrating without being too heavy. I like to first put this on my whole face, and then finish off with some thicker cream only on some dry areas like my cheek and eyelids. Also great that the seller is legit, so I don't have to get concerned on whether this is a counterfeit product
