Flonase Sensimist Allergy Relief Nasal Spray for Non-Drowsy, 24-Hour Multi-Symptom Allergy Relief – 120 Sprays (Pack of 2)

Developed a problem with my right ear where I began getting weird, very annoying noises. Sometimes a slow popping; other times it was like someone was popping microwave popcorn inside my head! I would also get what sounded like small puffs of air releasing in my ear, which I likened to a baby whale breathing through its air hole. This went on for months. I’m a senior and had never before encountered this problem. It was driving me crazy, causing me to lose a lot of sleep. Finally made an appt for a hearing test and visit with an ear, nose, throat doctor. The hearing test showed my hearing was excellent for my age. The ENT found minimal wax in the air. Said my ear canals were quite small and not straight, but she could see no other problems. She mentioned a number of things that could be causing the noises. She counseled me to use Flonase twice daily, 2 pumps per nostril, and to start taking a newer class antihistamine such as Zyrtec. If this didn’t work, we would have to do imaging and determine treatment—perhaps even surgery—based on the results. She said a product like Flonase can be used daily longterm with no detrimental results other than perhaps minor side effects like an occasional slight nose bleed. Both she and the audible hearing test doctor successfully use it daily for their allergies with no issues. I don’t like heavy nose sprays, so I chose the Sensimist formula. Within a couple weeks of usage, my ear noises almost completely resolved—and with no side effects! I still occasionally have very slight air puff noises or a slight, “paper-crinkling” like noise, but they are a fraction of what I used to get in frequency and intensity. To save money, I tried reducing the morning use from 2 pumps in each nostril to 1 pump while continuing the nightly 2 pump per nostril regimen. Unfortunately, the noises began to creep back in. Once I went back to 2 pumps twice daily, the noises calmed down again. I don’t even take Zyrtec every day now—only as needed. My only complaint is the manufacturer’s price for the Sensimist. For daily longterm users, it is quite expensive. Amazon, however, has the best price I can find. I got an RX from my doctor so I can charge purchases to my FSA card, which Amazon allows you to do.

Flonase Sensimist is amazing - very gentle but very effective. I just want to warn others who may order based on the representation that this product will arrive same day or next day through Prime. When I ordered, it was because the page and my order showed it would be delivered next-day. Instead, I received a tracking update that it shipped but it won't arrive for more than a week, via USPS. Really frustrating since I don't want to wait a week to get allergy relief, nor do I want to go buy it locally and have twice as much Flonase as I need (since it already shipped, I can't cancel).

Awesome product if you have seasonal allergies. Light and non irritating. My Allergist recommended it and so do I. 120 sprays Great value.

I found the Flonase Sensimist Allergy Relief Nasal Spray to be quite frustrating to use due to its design flaws. Half the time, the mist doesn’t spray properly, making it difficult to determine if I’ve received the correct dosage. Since the mist is invisible, it’s challenging to gauge whether I’ve applied it correctly. As a result, I end up wasting the product, spraying it in the air multiple times before attempting to use it again. This experience leaves me feeling like I’m not getting my money’s worth.

Works perfectly for my allergies and I love that it’s not highly floral scented like regular Flonase!! The droplets are far smaller too making it easier to use.
