I love this so much I accidentally bought it twice! I bought my first Miracle Gel nail polish when I saw a pretty teal color around Easter time last year and then I realized I had to buy Step 2 also, but the color was so pretty I bought both. This particular review is about this lovely dark green shade. I thought it went on as smoothly as any of the Miracle Gels I’ve used before, and covered nicely in two coats. It could ALMOST have been one cost but the color is so dark that it was still visible that it was thin in some places. With the Step 2 coat that I put on top, this lasted me about a week before starting to chip. I used a sparkly gold/iridescent Step 2 and the one thing about doing that is it made the green seem even darker and at a glance it seemed more black than green. But I haven’t found a good medium green shade and this seemed good for Christmas, reminiscent of evergreens, so I’m still pretty happy with it. The one thing I have never loved about these Miracle Gels is that they don’t want you to bother with a base coat. They do go on well even without one, and they don’t stain my nails with their colors. But I still often use a base coat with them (Orly Top 2 Bottom is nice) and I feel like they’re a bit more resilient when I do. I have in the past misplaced my Step 2 and they seem to do OK with a different topcoat too, in a pinch.

Beautiful color and great polish! Long lasting and easy to apply. Get the top coat and it looks like you went to the salon! Don’t hesitate and buy! The color is a deep, dark green and looks fabulous on!

I have many colors from this brand and I like the product very well. THe color is darker than expected. I am an artist and I have a keen eye for color palette and color values. I Will keep it.

Typically when I buy these polishes from other more trustworthy vendors, the polish lasts a long time without chipping. I’m not sure whether the Amazon vendor, A1, reformulated these gel polishes before distribution, or why the products from A1 are lower quality. There’s clearly a reason these are cheaper on Amazon than at other retailers like Walgreen’s or CVS. The quality from A1 is trash. I’ve ordered multiple colors and even got a bottle of nail primer from A1 to see if it helped with the longevity. The primer did not help, it was just a waste of more money. Yes the price point is very compelling, but it’s just to sucker you into buying a subpar product. Just spend the $12+ at a better retailer.

Very thick! If you have cuticles that curve up around the nail, this is difficult to apply. It dries very slowly. It does not go on smoothly. The color is great, however. I just applied it yesterday, so I’m not sure if it is chip resistant or not. The price was good, so I’m ok with the purchase. I only used Step 1, so I might have had better luck with the drying had I done so. I think it would be shinier with Step 2, but, since I only used it on my toes, I’m happy with the color. It matches the picture. I trust this brand, so I know it is good quality.
