Hanna NikoleWomen's Plus Size Long Hooded Raincoat Lightweight Waterproof Windbreaker Jacket

I am fond of the Hanna Nicole brand in general. Being in need of a raincoat for travel to Scotland, I decided to purchase this raincoat in favor of cheaper ones that might not fit my size. I ordered a full size larger than my normal size since I planned to wear this over sweaters. Thankfully, I could do this due to Hanna Nicole's size range.The raincoat fit me comfortably with room to spare and was the perfect length. There is a waist drawstring so you can shape the coat more to your figure. The sleeves were not too long, but still gave me good coverage during rain. The hood is not detachable, but is of good size and gave me head coverage in the rain. I was in several downpours on my trip, but I remained dry in the coat. Since I wore my purse under the coat, it stayed dry too! I simply smiled as many of my friends complained about leaking in their cheaper brand coats. I may have paid slightly more for the Hanna Nicole, but I had better quality and a more comfortable trip.I purchased the basic black raincoat which have proven to be a universal wardrobe color. I still use the coat and plan to have it on hand for trips to Seattle or for our short "rainy winter season" in Southern California. It is perfect for my area since it is not too warm. If you live in a colder climate, know you will need to wear a sweater or sweatshirt under this coat for extra warmth. Overall, it has been a good purchase and continues my faith in the Hanna Nicole brand. I can recommend this raincoat without reservation.

The material is soft and I like the thickness. The jacket is not too heavy but lightweight so I can move freely. True to size. I especially like the style. Great value for the money for sure.

I bought this raincoat for our trip to London. I have been so happy with the fit, color and style. I am a pleasantly plump women so I choose the 4X raincoat. It fit just right. The waistband drawstring gives my waist some definition which I appreciate. This jacket is not too thick to make me hot but also not too thin that I felt the wind. The jacket was lightweight enough that carrying it was not a problem at all. Also the rain slid right off without ever soaking the jacket. The only con with the jacket is the zipper pull-tab sometimes gets stuck sideways. I just play with it to get it unstuck. I highly recommend this raincoat.

I love this jacket! It fits extremely well, except the sleeves are a bit short. I do have long arms, so that happens with a lot of my jackets. The color is exactly what I wanted and wearing this in the rain is so helpful! It's perfect for keeping the rain off of me and it covers my butt which helps keep more of me dry. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a sturdy, comfortable rain jacket.

Lightweight and well made coat that does the job. Roomy, and easy to stuff into a bag. I love having the hood and pockets!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I like the color and it looked like it was well made…When I received it I found the belt pulley on the waist was broken…Quality:No Quality control there..

Awesome product. The fabric feels great, the lining doesn't make you sweat or feel hot. The jacket is pretty lightweight, the front zipper is hidden, which is important to keep the rain out. Finally, the hood is substantial. I would definitely purchase this again!

Wife here. The jacket is great. It may run slightly large but the waistband is easy to cinch so it still looks good. Better quality than I was expecting. It’s a thin jacket (because it’s a rain jacket) but even so the material is a medium weight. Will be great for spring/ fall or layered over a sweater for winter here in Virginia. Color is as shown.
