The butterfly cage is easy to use. Large enough to put a plant inside. It arrives flat and opens up. It zips and unzips easily.This is my first time and I just moved four caterpillars from my outside plant to the cage by clipping off the milkweed leaf they were eating on and placing them one by one on to the plant 🌱 in my new cage. I'm excited to see them evolve! They will be monarch butterfies which are now an endangered species due to insecticides. I am happy with my purchase!

I got this to protect an 8 inch willow that something kept eating. I poked holes in the bottom for rain to drain out and made a hole for the tree. It works great! Has doubled in size with nothing munching on it.

Bought this as a gift for my friend who loves monarchs. She has several of these in other sizes - they are perfect for protecting her caterpillars until they emerge into butterflies.

Perfect size for an inside nursery.

Works well for the grandkids as they collect Caterpillers and watch the process. Nice to put a couple jars with host plants in for the critters. Holding up well so far, after a month of constant use. An excellant summer investment!
