Coating is great , fingerprint sensor is almost same as u used before but one design is different , this one could be used as regular door lock that is very convenient for to if I don’t wanna disable door lock for a while. It is very easy to install same as other brand

I’d like to start by saying that the doorknob does what it was intended to do: open my door via fingerprint and passcode. That said, the Tuya companion app only worked for about 3-4 weeks before randomly stopping one day.The weird thing is that everything else within the app still works (such as programming/deleting fingerprints) but not being able to do its main intended purpose of unlocking my door remotely, which comes in handy when my 3 fingerprint attempts expire and I have to wait 2 minutes for the door the reset! And deleting the app does nothing (I’ve tried).As for the doorknob itself, my only con is that no matter how tightly you secure the doorknob to your door, after roughly 1-2 weeks of use, the doorknob will become loose and will need to be secured again.

I really do not review much but this device is AMAZING. Now my Batcave is secured and when we have guest over I do not have to worry about someone coming in my game/work room. lol.Def will buy two more for my bedroom and my son's room.

Easy to install. However, I'm always getting a fingerprint error, and the over-ride code doesn't work.

Could not locate and app and the box had no instructions

TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!! DO NOT BUY!!! I purchased this to lock my office french doors. Installed and added code and fingerprint for only myself and husband. All 5 of my children can put their fingers on the print pad and unlock it no matter what!!! I have tried wiping my print off, resetting and redoing my print, nothing works. Anyone can literally use their own print to open my office.......such a waste of money and so disappointed.

This door lock is a great option for a room inside your home where you want additional security or privacy. I decided to place this on the door leading to my storage/washing room because I keep most of my home's cleaning supplies in there. I wanted some additional protection protecting my children from getting into things they shouldn't, and, so far, it's working great!A lot of the feedback I've seen for this door lock focused on its ease of installation. I had more difficulty with installation than anticipated because the old hardware I replaced was smaller than the new hardware. I ended up having to order some chisels to upsize the areas on the frame and the door where the new hardware didn't quite fit.After those modifications, the door lock fits great and feels really solid. I've been using it for about a week and haven't had any issues with the installation. I registered my left thumb and right thumb and haven't had any issues getting into the room because my fingerprint was rejected.Overall, I'm pleased with this door lock. As long as you recognize that you might need to alter your doorframe or a small amount it is a great option!

Works well, feels solid. Fingerprint reader works great. Had it for a few days so we will see how it holds up over time. But I like it.I’m giving it 4 stars because the first time I ordered the battery tray was too small. But I returned it and my new one works great so far.
