I have been reefing for quite some time now and I like these wave makers. They are a little pricy for what they are but I have tried others in the time that I have had reef tanks and these out perform many of the others that I have used. They move water either by pulse or by steady movement. Your choice. I like that you can adjust the speed as well. I'd definitely recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Using 0w-25 for surface agitation 75 gallon heavily planted fresh water community tank. It may be a bit too powerful for me to get full use out of the controller, but I think a size down will be too small and would have to run all out to keep up. Even on the lowest setting my longer plants are being blown in the current—guppy’s are loving swimming against the flow tho. Well made product, makes NO sound. Get one. I was tired of the 3 LOUD air pumps always running—this one little guy replaces hundreds of dollars worth of air setup

I put a pair of OW25s in a 72” / 120gal. Yes it moves water end to end. People are burning these up because of 2 main reasons. They don’t buy big enough size and or only buy one. End result is you’re running one at full power. That’s more wear. If you also use the wave setting then you’re running it at full power and switching it on and off every 2 seconds. That’s what a wave is, a pulse. On, off, on, off. Surprised you fried a small electric motor in 6 months or less? Cuz you shouldn’t be. That said, my biggest complaint is the instructions it comes with are in English but it’s clear someone simply cut and pasted the original into google translate and then placed the result on a page without knowning how much is lost. They suck. YouTube, as of now, doesn’t have anything any better. Lol just a muppet

I love this thing! Has multiple wave settings, power settings, and speed settings. I've had it for about a year now and it's still going strong! It's decently quiet at this point it's mostly white noise though I can hear it more downstairs then right next to the tank but not an irritating noise. It has a night and feeding setting. I never use night mode but it uses a light sensor to sense night time. Feed mode is super useful it will shut it down for 15minutes and automatically turn back on. All in all a worth while buy! If you need one and you're on a budget like me then buy this thing!

After reading all the reviews on here I was expecting these to be much quieter. I bought 2 of the OW-25 and they both have an audible hum/whine at every speed. I have let them run for 2 days, I will update this review if they "break-in" and quiet down. At the end of the day, the noise they make is tolerable... just not as quiet as i was expecting given the reviews.The flow seems strong, and highly directional as is to be expected.The controllers have pretty limited options, and all the wave functions are much faster than I wanted in my tank, this is somewhat of a bummer since as far as I know they cannot be controlled by 3rd party controllers.

Great wave maker! Very powerful and quite. Very easy to use. The control work great and no need to buy an additional control to use the power head. Also you have the option to connect to another wave maker and control by one controller. The greatest thing is how quite is the power head!! I have another well known brand that makes clicking noise every time goes on and this Jebao power head is dead silent. Forgot to mentioned it's super strong! I'm definitely a fan of Jebao wavemaker now. Powerful, Quite & Great Price! I do recommend this wavemaker!

I owned the WP25 model and it treated me well for over 4 years. I am very pleased with this purchase (OW25) and after it took a couple of hours to break in, it is even quieter than the older model. The added features compared to the older model made this an excellent upgrade. Plenty of power for a 120 gallon aquarium just running one. I read some negative reviews and decided to give this wavemaker some love. It'll take you an hour or two to get it to the perfect setting for your tank, but after that you should be very pleased with your purchase.
