We received this umbrella base a few days ago and put it out yesterday while sunny. It is heavy and heavy duty! We he finish is beautiful on the vintage black. More like a charcoal gray if they helps anyone on the color. It’s always hard to tell from the product photos and there weren’t any photo reviews of this color yet. Initially I wanted the white but chose the black to match my umbrella pole. It comes with 4 adjustable feet that attach with ease and the pole holder part just screws into the top. The handle that tightens into the pole is super secure and great heavy quality. I expect that this will last years to come! We had a small tsunami last night and the umbrella didn’t budge! It washed a ton of dirt away from our newly installed pool so I’m super impressed with the fact that the base kept the umbrella super secure during the winds! Is it worth the money? I’m not sure, I’ve never purchased an umbrella base before so we shall see! I do want to purchase one of the other colors on sale during the Labor Day sale! Do I guess maybe it is worth the money to me!

I purchased this to replace an umbrella that was always falling. Tropical storm Debbie came to town and this umbrella did not budge! I purchased the 55 pound base.It looks beautiful and does what it’s supposed to do which just to keep your umbrella completely intact!

Absolutely beautiful and unique umbrella base that everyone asks about. I use it with the B&P Amalfi Umbrella in the backyard. It should last a long time so I think its worth the price.

This umbrella base is the heaviest one we have ever bought. The advantage of that is on a windy day it is not going to fall over and damage the umbrella or the porch furniture. We do try to put the umbrellas down if there is a little wind and remove them if it is very windy. This base as you can see from the phots is unique with the ridges going around the top of it. It comes with leveling "feet" which allow leaves to blow right past and not stay on your patio. The installation is really simple. You turn the base upside down, then screw in the four leveling feet. Next, turn it right side up and screw in the middle part that holds the pole. It comes with a rubber piece in case your pole is too narrow, but we did not need to use it. You put the pole down the holder and tighten a screw on the side of the base pole holder and you are all set. this took less than five minutes. We have never had a base of this quality. I think, because of the finish on it, there will be no issues with rust. We need to replace our in expensive bases every two or three years. I see this base lasting for a long time. Would love to replace all of ours with a quality product like this.
