Plastic topper which honestly I didn’t realize at first and was perturbed but when then I came to realize the kids like pulling at it so if it ever fell the plastic is way safer than glass. Quality material very durable east to use and FULLY disassemble-able for easy cleaning

I like the build, seem sturdy metal and glass. Input it in a vacation rental. I discovered all u have to do is turn the know backwards a little and out comes 13-15 pieces and no quarters needed. I would not recommend.

I thought it was great but just found out if you twist back and forth on knob it keeps giving out candy. At least it you have it set to max output I will have to change it and see if it still does.Changing my rating. Turns out there are notches that denote where adjustments to output should be.Giving 4 stars because it doesn’t say this anywhere. Now it doesn’t give out free candy.

It’s cheaper made but better than some other products you can get.

Santa brought this to my grandson, full of skittles. He loves it! Gives just the right amount of candy. Didn’t have to adjust anything, it worked perfectly right out of the box!

My grandchildren were always asking for Skittles and then wanting to choose their favorite colors. This machine has solved that problem. It is just what I was hoping for. It’s sturdy and easy to use. I give the boys their first quarter for free. After that they have to work for more quarters or spend their own money. There’s no more fishing around for their favorites.. The machine dispenses the perfect amount of candy . My biggest problem is coming up with jobs worth a quarter. And keeping the machine loaded with Skittles. It holds a huge amount. We aren’t a big sweets eating family so this has been a good way for me to spoil my grandkids in a way they find fun. I haven’t had it long enough to have the problems some people reported. I’m happy with my purchase so far.

I have always wanted a candy machine in my classroom for incentives and just for fun. This machine is perfect because it is not a glass jar so if it were to fall, the machine may break but there is no glass that will shatter and put kids in danger. Best bang for my buck! Ps. It is a bit wobbly which was disappointing but it’s still great.

Mine is good. Didn't expect the base to be such flimsy plastic BUT.. it works good, good system to avoid smashing candy, mechanism is simple and very sturdy... Takes only quarters like it's supposed to.. 4 stars :]
