Alka Seltzer Gold - 36 Effervescent Tablets (Pack of 4)

Very pleased taste

This was recommended years ago when I use to have Fibromyalgia. It helped with some pain relief at that time.I went on the Carnivore/Ketovore diet cutting the sugar and carbs out of my diet and the Fibromyalgia is gone. I am now 60 and working on a farm. Bad knee and back act up sometimes if I over do and can wake up with body pain. Cows, pigs, chickens, ducks, dogs and cats I have taken a few falls!If I wake up feeling sore or stiff or even sick I will add 1-2 Alka-Seltzer Gold and Blue tablets (as in 1 Gold & 1 Blue or if it is a Big pain day then I will use 2 tablets of each)to plain seltzer water along with 1/2 a can of caffeinated flavored seltzer. That touch of caffeine helps kick in the pain relief a bit faster and makes just the most amazing combination!! I can get up and go go go! Owning a farm the animals don’t care if you hurt they still want to be fed!! Life has to go on. There is no option to lay in bed and feel bad.Anyone who has suffered body pain understands pain and that sometimes you need relief!! I’m not sure what is in the Gold that makes it so beneficial and the Blue work better but it does. It really does. I never ever allow myself to run out of the AS Gold tablets.It is worth every penny!! I don’t use it that often, but it is the only thing that I use. No other over the counter products. This is my go to!!

Being fans of a slightly more alkaline approach to life, we keep these on hand for Pitta-aggravating days (heat, stress, food indulgence) and often have this with a scoop of Calm as a pre-bedtime mocktail. We tend to wake up acidic, as the body does a lot of housecleaning while we sleep, but we find that having something alkaline before bed works miracles. Green drinks, or this, do the trick nicely.It has no flavor of its own, so I have also mixed this with a dash of juice and sipped it on a sweltering summer day. Again, alkalizing and internal air conditioning.I wish it was FSA/HSA approved like every other version of Alka Seltzer, but c'est la vie.

Why is this so hard to find at Target? This is the best! I have GERD, I don't want aspirin in my antacid. Regular Alka Seltzer is good for when you have a cold, this is good for all of the time.P.s. I have not been paid to write this, I just want to write more reviews this year because I read other peoples' reviews a lot, and I want to contribute something too :)

This product has been a life saver for me. I have late stage Lyme disease and subsequently I usually wake with a sour stomach nausea and a headache from being toxic from treatment. This product usually gets rid of those symptoms and keeps them away for the day. Sometimes I need a second dose at night but I can’t live without this. It’s quick to take, taste is fine and it lets me function where before I couldn’t get out of bed from being sick. Great stuff!

I cannot take aspirin but like taking Alka-Seltzer for an upset stomach. I was concerned about the taste of this product since once I bought an Alka-Seltzer product for colds and did not like the taste at all. This product has almost exactly the taste as regular Alka-Seltzer but without the aspirin. I recommend.

The heartburn and indigestion relief without the aspirin if you don't need or want it for other reasons. Tablets that are easy to use and carry.

Works great. Kinda expensive. But you get what you pay for!
