Le Creuset Enamel On Steel Demi Tea Kettle with Metal Finishes, 1.25 qt., Caribbean

I’ve always wanted this teapot and had been eyeing it for a while—so glad I finally ordered one! I love how durable it feels, and I really appreciate the sound of the whistle. It’s gentle, but still loud enough to hear from another room—just something to be aware of when using it.It came with detailed care instructions, which I made sure to read thoroughly since I noticed some reviews mentioning chipping or damage due to misuse. The teapot is on the smaller side and boils enough water for two people, which is exactly what I was looking for. It retains heat well and functions beautifully.I also love the thoughtful design—there are interior holes that mark the water level, and the color coordination is a great bonus. I have the matching silicone spatulas and spoon rest, and everything ties together so nicely.Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase and so glad I finally treated myself!

Works wonderfully and is the perfect size. Great quality! Handle doesn’t get hot, neither does the push-open at the tip. People complained that the whistle volume is too low, and it is lower than other kettles I’ve had. But you are not supposed to step away from anything you have on the stove and since it’s smaller it boils very quickly anyways. So just stay close enough to your kettle and you won’t have a problem. You can hear it from a room over - you shouldn’t be leaving your house while boiling water.Was worried about the plastic bits, but the water doesn’t touch any of it, so it won’t affect the water quality and the plastic is high quality too and has a nice texture on it. Also helps it from getting too hot.I also like how the bottom of the lid is flat, so water doesn’t pool up inside of it at all.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this to match my other LeCreuset collection. I have had mine for about 6mos now. I use it everyday. Looks beautiful on my stove. Heats up quickly. Whistle is not annoying but loud enough. Perfect size for 2 people. No rust inside. Does have small spot on bottom where enamel has worn off a little. Doesn't bother me, I turn that spot to the back. I am thinking I had it on too large of burner maybe?? If spot gets bigger I may reach out to company. I have many other LeCreuset enameled stock pots, they are excellent quality and customer service.

Overall it’s great and what you’d expect from Le Creuset. Color is vibrant. Heats quickly. Some mentioned the whistle is faint, but that hasn’t been my experience. It won’t startle you out of your seat but certainly it’s plenty audible. The only small complaint I have is similar to others, which is that the lid is quite tight and requires a bit of oomph to loosen. Maybe it’ll have more give over time.

Looks great, works great, has held up great.
