Is the tongue attached to the shoe at the side like in previous models?

Yes, same type of tongue. The sole is a bit grippier, because of the different type of rubber used. I believe it’s an improvement over the last model (5).

is this shoe water resistant ?

Not too much only around the bottom

How does the width compare to the superior 5?

I've only just recieved mine and so far for me the 5 might look slightly wider in the toe box area when comparing them directly next to each other but really I think it's the same
