Nappi 1911, Maraschino Cocktail Cherries with Stem in Syrup, 13.76 oz (390 g) Jar, Product of Italy

I needed cherries with stems so I could make chocolate dip cherries. These were perfect - amazing flavor.

Haven’t eaten them yet but previous maraschino cherries are delicious in everything.

I purchased these cherries specifically to make Chocolate Christmas Mice. The stems of the cherries are the mouse tail. There were 28 cherries in the 13.75 oz. (390 grams) jar. Of the 28 cherries, 3 had no stem at all, 6 had stems intact and 19 had broken and missing stem. As for the taste, they were awful. The syrup tasted unnatural and heavily of chemicals. I tossed the entire lot. $11.99 for 6 cherries that tasted awful and presented even worse was a bad purchase. NEVER again.

Gotta say I thought that spending the extra money for these on a whim turned out to be a poor choice.They just don’t taste like any of the other brands I use, sort of a muted, chemical tasting that I do not find pleasing.Mebbe I’m just used to cheap cherries but these are definitely not as good tasting, maybe I got a bad batch.

These were just ok, the taste on them wasn’t that great.
