Exceptional. Just buy it!
Absolutely exceptional game. We played Hitster over New Year with family spanning multiple generations, and it was a huge hit with everyone. One of the things it gets so right is that there’s no real bias toward any particular era of music — every round feels fresh and fair, so nobody is left feeling out of their depth because of their age. It’s incredibly easy to pick up, gets people laughing and talking straight away, and creates those brilliant “oh my god, I remember this!” moments across the table. Competitive without being intimidating, and social without being forced. Genuinely one of the best party games we’ve played in years, and it’s already become a staple for future get-togethers. Cannot wait to play it again. Highly recommended.

Perfect game for a music mad friend; discussion and competition in a compact box
Bought as a gift for my music mad friend; nice compact size - ideal for taking on a weekend break with friends or game nights. She has advised there are some challenging questions and it provokes discussions. Good value for money; she said it's a great game to play; easy to set up and begin; her household is now adults as children are grown and was great for them.

Best Party Game I’ve Played in Years
I have now bought three of these after playing it at a friend’s house. It really is the best party game. The music range is brilliant, covering everything from the 1920s right through to current hits, so it works well for all ages. The rules are very easy to understand and it is perfect for larger groups. One of the best things is that no one has to worry about being DJ whilst playing the game. It works best when connected to a speaker and with a Spotify Premium account, but not essential. Highly recommend for parties, family gatherings, or any social get together!

Great party game
Great game to play with people of all ages Needs an app to work, but it really easy to use and the app works perfectly. Need to scan a card and then you can set it so music doesn't play until your phone is face down so everybody can get involved Game can be made harder or easier by changing the amount of cards you need to collect Loads of cards so can be played over and over again!

Good family game.
This is a great game. Played it at a friend’s house and it was good fun so bought one for us. Good value under £20. Says it’s for 16+ but my 10 yr old played it, was quite good at it and enjoyed it. Good family game.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This game combines trivia with music, what can be better? My family and I like to play games, the Meta Game with the timeline is one of our favorites. Now that we found Hitster, we have two games we can get everyone to agree on and know we all will enjoy it. Because it is a music game, you will need a smartphone or tablet with an Internet connection, it is a requirement for the game. Once you are playing, you have several different ways to play. Our favorite is timeline where you play the song and guess what year it was released. If you can guess the name of the song and the artist, you win a token which you can trade in for a new point. The game comes with songs from Big Band to Jazz to Hip Hop and years that range from 1920s to 2020 so it really is fun for all ages and all tastes. It has expansion packs available, but we haven't tried those yet.
