The product arrived quickly and without any damage. However, the products says it has a foam pad. The instruction say after you wash it, "Once completely dry, carefully apply foam pad to underside surface" . Checked for foam pad in box and wrapping. Nope, no foam pad. Checked instructions and product advertisement on Amazon. Says there is supposed to be a foam pad. Still, I like the product and I will fabricate my own "foam pad".

The quality of the mortar and pestle is GREAT! Solid and heavy granite. My only reservation is that I clearly received a used/opened one. The product box itself (not the Amazon delivery box) was ripped open in areas. The instruction/info pamphlet called for a padding/cushion for the bottom of the mortar, and our package did not have it. Bummer but overall good quality!
