Medium. I am 6' and wear the large, which isn't exactly snug. Medium should be perfect.

Are these pre-shrunk?

These FreshIQ t-shirts are not pre-shrunk. If you apply any heat to these when washing or drying they will shrink. I recommend looking into or buying the Hanes "X-TEMP" t-shirts if you are concerned about shrinkage. The X-TEMP versions from Hanes can withstand "extreme temperatures". Pun intended.

Do these shirts shrink in the dryer?

Washed in regular warm or cold water you shouldn't expect any shrinkage other than the natural tightening of the material the first wash. I've tried many brands of traditional white T-shirts or undershirts and find that these fit true to size, are comfortable and are a brighter white cotton than many.

You won't be disappointed based on my experience

What can you say about a T-Shirt? I mean it is a T-Shirt right? I am very pleased with these. I switched to the Hanes brand many years ago from Fruit-of-the-loom. I never looked back and don't plan to. These are of good quality. Cool, soft material. I wear them as an outer shirt a lot and they don't wrinkle easily. They stretch where they need to. The color stays and the collar keep sit shape. Given most other products from other makes I would say these are good quality for the $$. I have purchased more since these and plan to keep on doing to. Best I have found thus far for the money.

Comfy and Stylish, But a Bit Long on the Waist!

I really wanted to love these all the way through—and don’t get me wrong, I mostly do! The fit is almost perfect; they’re super comfortable and look great, just with one little hiccup: the waist length is a tad too long for my liking. Not a dealbreaker, but I find myself adjusting more than I'd prefer.That said, the quality and style are spot on, and they’ve definitely earned a spot in my rotation. If they were just a smidge shorter at the waist, they’d be perfect!

Not happy with these

My husband has been wearing Hanes t shirts forever but has been complaining lately that the t shirts cling to him and are too stretchy. He works outdoors and says they are very hot. Everything I order from Hanes these days is not the same as it was. I do now see that these have spandex in them in some sort of cotton blend. I will have to look for lightweight100 Cotton for him.
