I recently picked up the Sailnovo Rooftop Cargo Carrier for 700 mile family trip, and it worked out perfectly. Installation was straightforward, but it took some time to figure out. But, once strapped down securely, it stayed put for hundreds of miles of highway driving and I noticed barely any slippage. I was impressed by how much it could hold — it easily fit multiple duffel bags, blankets, and other bulky items, which freed up a lot of space inside the car. We hit some light rain during the trip, and the waterproof material held up really well. Nothing inside was damp when we unpacked. I am not sure how it would perform in heavy rain though but the material is pretty resistant. The bag itself folds down compactly when not in use, so it doesn’t take up much garage space either. Pros: Spacious storage capacity as it easily handles several bags and bulky gear. Durable, waterproof material. Easy setup and compact storage. Cons: Like most rooftop bags, it can make a bit of wind noise at higher speeds, but it wasn’t excessive and hardly noticeable. Overall, this cargo carrier is a great choice if you need extra storage for road trips or vacations. It’s roomy, durable, and affordable compared to hard-shell carriers, and it gives you the flexibility to store it away when not in use. Highly recommended for anyone short on space during travel.

Very easy to use. Fits a lot. Went through a thunderstorm and nothing got wet.

It is a nice cargo top. Was a little smaller than I was hoping. Got 3 suitcase and 4 folding chairs and 2 small backpack in it. Worked for a trip to Galveston Texas. Fit on 2023 Honda Sport

This thing is everything it's cracked up to be! I used it for a cross-country road trip. It held SO MUCH stuff! I got it on the roof by myself (53 yo female) and strapped on super easily. I was so nervous about it for the first few hours of driving; I kept getting out and checking that it was solid. There was no need--on my 4-day trip it didn't even budge. I also did have one night of torrential downpour and was worried--but everything stayed perfectly dry. I only wish I had bought one of these years ago!

Great bag

Used for a 2000 mile road trip. The key problem I have with this carrier is there are no forward facing straps. If you don't have this filled to capacity, you have extra fabric and without front straps to secure it, it flaps VERY loudly on the freeway. We had to pull over and do some rigging to cinch it down tighter and secure the excess. The second issue I have is that the most forward top strap is quite angled. To connect them, both straps pull at an awkward angle. We did loop the forward most straps to our front cross bar, but the angle made me worry it would rip. I did give 3 stats because 1. We drove through some rain and had no moisture inside the bag and 2. The capacity is really good. With that said though, if I wasn't outside of the return window I would send it back to find something with true front straps.

Use this on our Sienna to carry luggage 700 miles one way and had no issues. It was easy to install in the roof and held what we needed it to do. It has six straps to tie to the roof and two additional straps to tighten it up so it does not flap all over the place. Even through some weather, all our items stayed dry and nothing tore on it. I would recommend as a roof top carrier

Mejor que un cofre que tienes montar y desmontar y necesita espacio para guardarlo. En el último viaje, montado sobre un XC90, viajamos 7 personas con todo el equipaje (7 maletas de cabina, varias bolsas con comida) en el techo. En otro viaje ha sido la solución perfecta para ir de camping, y he podido prescindir del remolque.

Produit acheté pour partir en vacances avec un véhicule citadin. Tout d'abord : - assez facile d'installation (sauf si l'installation se fait sous le vent et la pluie) - permet une grande augmentation de la capacité de rangement: 4 valises cabine et plusieurs sacs /cabas - produit stable lors du trajet: n'a pas bougé sur un trajet de 500km sur autoroute avec un temps pluvieux et venteux Points négatifs - peut être est-ce dû à une mauvaise installation sur le trajet retour mais les sangles à l'intérieur de l'habitacle de la voiture n'étaient pas imperméables et donc nous avions de l'eau qui ruisselait à l'intérieur de la voiture... - la sécurisation du sac pour les arrêts: je n'ai pu mettre qu'un petit cadenas donc j'ai été attentive à ne pas trop laisser la voiture sans surveillance... En tout cas très bon produit, excellent rapport qualité / prix, et encombrement minimal par rapport à un coffre de toit.

Erst war ich skeptisch ob das alles auch so hält.. Aber es sitzt bombenfest. Wir hatten während der Fahrt Sturm und starken Regen. Es ist nichts verrutscht und alles war trocken. Wirklich top. Auch das Platzangebot ist wie beschrieben. Wir hatten einen Koffer, drei Reisetaschen und 3 Beutel drin und es war sogar noch etwas Luft.

Dans le manuel il est dit de positionner le sac "non zipped face" face a la route mis dans les exemples en vidéo il est positionné dans l'autre sens.?
