Thus is much better than the bar soap. The bar soap is not formulated the same and it doesn't smell so great nowadays. I prefer this bodywash instead. I feel fresh and much cleaner now.

I have been using Dial Gold antibacterial hand soap for many years as a body wash as well. With the recent concern over antibacterial ingredients in body soaps, I decided to try this product which lacks the antibacterial agent present in the hand soap.This lathers MUCH more than the Dial Gold hand soap does, which is good. It has a different scent; both scents are okay by me. However, my wife has recently become more sensitive to scents in body washes I've tried and this is just a bit too strong for her comfort, although it is much less problematic than the highly rated Neutrogena I recently also tried. Even I found the Neutrogena to have too much lingering scent after rinsing and drying.Despite the included moisturizers, this will dry your skin out a bit if used every day, especially if you have dry skin to start with. But that is par for the course for body washes. Those that don't do this tend to leave a noticeable slick residue or something which does not feel "clean."The price is right, especially if you buy locally.
