Q: Can this be refrigerated before and after opening?

Even though all the soda flavors contain sodium benzoate as a food preservative, it says on the back of the bottles, "refrigerate after opening".

Q: Instructions says fill cap to inner middle line, I assume this is for 1 liter of carbonated water?

First, I flavor mine with Starry. I go from the middle line up, depending on how strong I want. And it goes in the fully carbonated bottle (up to the fill line; never paid attention if that is a liter).

Q: Can these type of syrups be used without a soadstream unit by just by using like a mio water additive??

It would taste like gross flat soda, but sure?
