A waste of money -- didn't expect such disappointment from Zojirushi
Received someone's return. There were remnants of food in the container. Now utterly disgusted and won't come near the thing, no matter how thoroughly washed. Didn't expect this from Zojirushi.

I gifted my friend with these 2 jars of different sizes and she was very grateful as she used to brought soup for her lunch at office and by her surprise the soup is still hot and looks just freshly cooked. this product is highly recommended.

Shopped around for something that will keep kids’ food warm. This one is easy for kids to open on their own at ages 7 and 9 (lid does not suction over time), it keeps food hot for a while and easy to clean. Also like how sleek it looks. It is made in Thailand and not Japan but quality seems great still.

Bought this after some bad experiences with Thermos products that leaked. This is a really nice container. Keeps things hot - I measured boiling water at ~140C eight hours later, in line with the specs on their website. My coffee that I brew at 7am is still piping hot at 11am and noticeably hotter than other double walled flasks I have used. Not dishwasher safe, but comes apart into three components very easily and is a breeze to hand clean. The only thing that would make it better would be a carry handle of some kind or something I could attach a clip to. Highly recommended.

This vessel has excellent heat and cold retention ability. It is incredibly easy to clean too. No fussing with any removable gasket or finicky parts. Complete cleaning possible with just a sponge and dishsoap, no need for brushes or a gasket digger tool. Everything fits and stays screwed on when you remove the lid , unlike the similar Thermos cup, which has a wobbly under-cover vacuum releasing part. It has gone through the dishwasher and a fall from quite a height and hasnt got a scratch nor a dink O.M.G! Well worth every penny paid. It shall be my family heirloom 13May2025 Back here to edit my review for the benefit of mankind. So it turns out that you DO need to occasionally remove the gasket for a good acrub and wash especially if you drink bulletproof coffee or soups from it like I do. I had no clue till I realised the parts came out of the dishwasher still smelling funky and feeling greasy. No matter how i scrubbed and cleaned, the edges of the gasket jus felt greasy and the odour was unbearable. Overnight soaking in hydrogen perixide didn't work one bit. It wasn't till I thonked the gasketed part on a dishcloth that I realised IT COMES APART! IN 3 PARTS!!! Photo attached to show you guys what the gasketed part looks like. It took me a while to figure out how to unscrew to disassemble and to put everything back together again, but now I GOTS IT! (Patpatonmyback) To unscrew, place your entire palm onto the bottom donut-like ring while grabbing the opposite ring. Turn the two rings in anti-cw direction. Wash, assemble and screw everything back on again using the palm of one hand while grabbing the other part with the other hand. I dont really know how to explain this but it really is easier than it sounds and you really do need to disassemble to clean to prevent odours and germs. Hope this helps! And by the way, this is still THE BEST FLASK IN THE WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD!
