This vermiculite is extremely functional and is very easy to use. My orchids love it and are growing very well. The cost is reasonable and I definitely will buy this brand again.

This is such a good amount for the price. I mixed it in with other souls types for good soil quality and drainage.

This is very fine grained vermiculite which is ideal for my needs. I use it for seed starting mixes as well as a "mulch" once the seedlings emerge. The latter works well to prevent damping off on tender starts. Both tasks can be accomplished with coarser vermiculite, but this fine grained option is ideal. It comes in a vacuum sealed pouch. The vacuum makes the pouch rigid, which helps ensure it remains in good shape in transit (as well as saving space in the box). It arrived in perfect shape. On the downside, the pouch is not resealable, so I decanted the leftover material into a sealed container to keep it clean. If you need fine grained vermiculite, this hits the mark perfectly. Five stars.

Great quality and content was low will buy again. This vermiculite is fantastic! It’s lightweight, absorbs water well, and helps improve soil aeration and drainage for my plants. I’ve noticed healthier roots and better growth since using it in my potting mixes. The granules are clean, consistent in size, and easy to work with. Overall, a high-quality and versatile addition to any gardener’s toolkit—highly recommend!

Just what I needed to overwinter my dahlia tubers. Finer than the small amount I already had, but works well.

Works great for sprouts

This product nearly killed my cannabis seedlings. I mixed it in with regular compost (1 part vermiculite, 1 part sandy subsoil, 3 parts aged sheep manure and grass hay compost) to make a light and fluffy potting soil. My seeds sprouted, started to grow, and then the leaves turned yellow-green green and the seedlings stopped growing. If I hadn't transplanted them to the compost and sandy subsoil potting mix without this vermiculite, they would have died. It looked like a toxicity problem. Light applications of a balanced NPK fertilizer did not help. Not even foliar feeding helped. None of my seedlings started in the compost and sandy subsoil potting mix without this vermiculite displayed those symptoms of either nutrient deficiency or toxicity. The rescued seedlings displayed stunted growth, while those started in the vermiculite-free compost grew vigorously and yielded abundantly. I'm no amateur at growing cannabis either, so you can't attribute this near disaster to lack of knowledge and experience.
