My dotMod 2x2 square ecig has a lanyard hole thats impossible to use. I tried modifying many different jump rings and clips to connect it to my heavy-duty custom-engraved leather lanyard. Finally I resorted to criss-crossing five rubber bands around the ecig. Not attractive, but it didn't break easily and I could always find my vape. This is a much better looking solution. The lanyard hole on the bands seem pretty durable too. I wasn't counting on that and was planning to connect the clip to the band directly, which scratches my ecig over time. So that's a nice touch, versus plain silicone bands. I cleaned out the laundry room yesterday wearing my dotMod and these silicone bands held up despite catching on things numerous times. All other solutions would have broken in the first hour. I also sleep with it on my neck and it hasn't come off or broken when dragged underneath me. Metal jump rings didn't last a single night. I crisscross two bands to prevent them from sliding off when tugged on. If this is not possible, these could be doubled or triple-wrapped on a 1 - 1.5 inch device. It would be too loose otherwise. They stretch up to 3 inches (6 inches around. Mine is 4 inches.) It fits just right. They could be used for heavier battery mods if multiple bands are connected to a very sturdy lanyard or chain. I could see them getting slippery if ejuice or something gets on them, just like rubber bands. So keep them clean or use multiple bands. Also ejuice will probably break the silicone down and weaken them. So replace them or wash them regularly if thats an issue.

Super handy. I used them to secure vapes to a lanyard. This really helped me to not loose my vapes.

Got these for a friend to attach his vape to lanyard so he doesn't lose it, it it works! It stretched and held it perfectly.

Perfect solution! I bought this because my BF continuously drops his vape unit whenever he stands from a sitting position. These units are not cheap and as yet we have failed to find a protective cover for his. These bands are the perfect solution. He now wears his vape unit on a lanyard around his neck. 10/10 recommend over replacing broken/dropped vape units.

These silicone rings fit larger sized vapes since some brands do not have lanyard loop attachment.

I’ve used this/these throughout the year. I’m a Soldier and an avid outdoorsman that lives in Texas. What does that mean? These have been through extreme heat, rain, freezes. I’ve gotten oil, grease, dirt, rubbing alcohol, soap.. ..everything! And out of the two I switch back and forth with, neither have broken nor lost its elasticity. I was skeptical at first, but let me tell you, these are quality and will last me more years to come!

I love it. It’s a snug fit for most vapes, including “flavour beasts” and “stlth’s”. The only downside is finding a perfect lanyard that will fit the hole for it. Thankfully I had one already that was made for it (from the philippines), and it just has the string attachment. Less bulky and won’t deteriorate the plastic holder. If you’re looking to find something to help you prevent losing your vape all the time, this is perfect for you.
